posty56: Likewise don't be in a hurry to take it out when you don't fully understand the terrain you're coming into. It's beta late than sorry. That said, define your objective of investing in the mkt(short/long term, dividend Hunter or jijoist(short term gain motive), understand why stock prices go up or down and I think at the minimum be able to read a financial statement (not so in-depth but at least to be able to tell when a company is making profit or loss). Finally, ask questions here. @mcy is our mother in isreal who will answer you in a very non technical language that you will understand and the other ogas will answer you technically Sorry for my long epistle. I recommend reading "Why stocks go up". Available in pdfdrive dot come 3 Likes |

Intendy: With the way AIRTEL is investing in the entertainment industry, I see an asset play here. But then, it may be one of those unprofitable ventures. Actually, Airtel scares me right now. |

How much have you paid for processing of selling your Right Issue? What is your experience like? Morgan capital is asking me to pay 7k for processing of selling my Afolabi Aiico Right Issue units, they say that it cannot be processed online but have to be done physically at the registrar's office. |

Someone mentioned INTBREW here....think it's Ojeysky.....you're the only one that identified with it here when I mentioned it. Just be patient, you'll get 100% here......buy more dose of patience. Don't listen to Peter's negative EPS story. |

The confidence of investing in March is getting replaced with fear in October with this sudden upward movement in the market. The 'bottle planting' statement by Onifa is in full view. Those who ran the other way whilst we were entering have returned fully. Onifa, please don't forget to announce Oso Abiola when time is right. Caution is the right word, no matter how early. We will hand over to the newcomers. 3 Likes |
