This issue about SARS that is currently trending,I know a lot of Nigerians are agitating for sars to be banned,and it's seems the IG is on cause about to do it because It is on news that sars and the IG intelligence squad banned from conducting stop and search operation on Nigerian roads.
Before we jump into conclusion about sars we need to get our facts right.
*Most of these guys agitating for sars ban are all Yahoo boys.
It is a very very worrisome trend in Nigeria whereby you see young men and youths that ought to be filled with knowledge and ambition all thinking about going to HK to learn yahoo Nigeria had never been so bad like this.how can a 15yr old boy that ought to be learning a skill and reading his books be thinking of how to pick and buy Benz?
this is totally shameful and a slap on the face of this country future and that of our youths.If over 70 million youths start yahoo(scam) as an occupation how will Nigeria future be like if everybody is scamming everybody.this country future had gone to the dogs.i work although I am not earning millions but I don't scam or would ever think of it.There is dignity in hardwork.its so shameful parents are now in support of their kids going in yahoo.most of these Yahoo boys are now into human rituals.Just imagine the level of babarism our youths sees as normal thing.i think Nigeria need to be banned from Facebook Twitter and Instagram if this evil seed called Yahoo(scam) continues to grow in our culture.

The only way to restore sanity back Nigeria youths is to make punishment for cyber crime more stringent.Though SARS themselves are not helping matters at all,y not charge these young men to court,at least,that will serve as deterrent to others who only believe in defrauding d innocent

Can you explain why sars will arrest auditors of an accounting firm just because they saw documents of a company in their vehicle. Even after showing proof they are auditors with company id. Well dressed on suit. Sars still choose to arrest them until their ogas showed up threating fire and brimstone

You are wrong on so many fronts that it seems you either are a SARS operative yourself or your are paid to carry out propaganda campaign for SARS.

First of all, according to the constitution, your are innocent until proven guilty. But, SARS has reversed that to you are guilty until proven innocent. SARS pronounce innocent youths guilty of cyber crimes based on age, fashion sense, car driven and hair style.

SARS has left the reason they were created, which is to confront armed robbery and violent crimes and have digressed to cyber crimes. SARS operatives are not trained in cyber crimes, so they just use their AK47s to Blackmail, extort, rob and kill innocent youths. You can't fight cyber crimes with AK47, you need to train in software engineering and hacking tools s to catch cyber criminals. Have you ever seen SARS arraign any suspect in court? They can never win a conviction in court, because first they have no evidence to present in court outside your phone or laptop which was collected at gun point without a search warrant. A good lawyer will dismiss that evidence based on technicalities - illegally obtained evidence.

Thirdly, not every youth with flashy cars and expensive phones are into cyber crimes. In this age of the Internet, many young men including teens are making huge sums in software engineering, digital marketing, website design, Forex trading, online marketing, etc. I know a barely 19 year artist that sells his artwork all over the world. He is doing very well. My wife advised him not to buy a car if he values his life and peace of mind because of SARS.

Lastly, yes I know a huge percentage of our youth is involved in yahoo yahoo, but unleashing an armed forced on them is not the answer. It's not a violent crime, and I have not heard any yahoo boys using guns and knives to rob people. What the police need is a special unit dedicated to catching cyber crimes (and I think such unit exists within the EFCC ). They need to invest in sophisticated computers and hacking software in order to monitor and gather concrete evidence of cyber crimes that is admissible in court.

It's not only Yahoo boys is the victim of sars extortion sir mine for example I was stopped in a akure by sars I told them I was coming from immigration office because of my international passport and I was told it's only Yahoo boys that have the kind money and passport I applied for I was so pissed off stand over an hour watching how they arrest boys anyhow but by the end I pay 20k because of my international passport ���

my guy begin cry but I strong my mind say u see today, am ready to meet my creator.am not ready to part any money or fall for there extortions. them begin search my guy npower tab say wetin ordinary Google hangout dey do for him tab...him begin cry say na Buhari govt give them as npower beneficiaries and that it was pre-installed...the next thing slap land for him face....'you are lieing, una be gee boy'...
I was just quiet as they were asking my guy..they turn to me n said wey that your phone, I brought it and they took it and just smash it on the ground and say they will follow us to the house..my guy don cry tire....
I gather mind tell them say we no be any gee boy..say SARs are meant to be good n dat if these their harassment enter social media it will create bad image for them..n.a. him dey say..oh you won show us say you go school..they slap me severally...
they now refuse to follow us home to search our laptops n insisted we pay them 20k each...my guy begin cry say him no get work n dat npower never pay am his stipends...they carry us from uniport junction begin drive round Portharcourt.
they took my guy tab again n check..I knw it was his bank information they are trying to get n know his financial stand....wen they saw what they were looking for, they insisted the guy give them 20k! the guy now beg n transfer 10k to them
they check my own n saw nothing as I dnt carry my linked line of my accounts out..n.a. so I begin form cry say someone dupe me of my last 120k wen i won register for bitcoin....am just broke now...say na my guy dey support me with him npower job..come see slap wey follow me that day...they drove to rumulumeni n ask us to get down...this was then by 11pm....
n.a. God save us that day and brought us back from the land of the dead!


point to note with SARs. ...
don't carry your account link line or SIM out or wen you are going out use another small phone with a second line....this guys knows how to dial any bank codes n get your alert details..dats how they prize n bill you

dnt save your passwords in your bank account apps, if possible dnt save bank apps..they use it to know how much you have

make sure you delete your browsing history completely, ordinary porn site or bitcoin history, they will tag you gee boy

always leave your big phone at home..take a none Android or iPhone out....

Is it the duty of SARS to monitor financial crimes?
Even the ones they caught, please can u tell us the highest jail term given to them?
U catch a yahoo boy, convict him and the most jail term u give him is 3months. Don't u think we r not ready to fight crime in Nigeria?
