Xixtie: I now know for sure you are an unfortunate person. You have no manners and in no way a credit to the good parenting i assume you were given. There are many ways to manage your frustrations you know. I can bet my one month salary (which you can never earn in your whole unfortunate life) that you are just a jobless kid still being fed by ITS parent. Plus the fact that you are a guy masquerading as a female shows you have no self esteem as no lady with dignity and self respect will spew trash as you have been doing. Incase, you are really a woman, then i am sorry for your father, husband, and son should you have any. Pele. 5 Likes |

Xixtie:I have been observing all the thrash you have been spewing on this thread and it's very obvious that you don't know what you're saying. I have found out that stupid people use insults and condescending words to mask their ignorance. You have been shouting your dad is a professor, right now I'm not so sure he is really your dad. Government, please do the needful make our children go back to class. ASUU considers the future of these potential leaders of tomorrow for the sake of Almighty God... |

Kampack: The IPPIS actually shows that government is sincere about education. The intention of ASUU is what I find questionable. The IPPIS offers a lot of potential benefits for our education system. I don't understand why ASUU has a problem with it. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Going by what I have read on this thread, especially from the contributions of those in the system, I do not agree with you. |

rezy15:Thanks my dear for making it clearer. Noise doesn't cover ignorance. I was so surprised at his/her bold display of ignorance even when people in the system were trying to enlighten him/her. It's unfortunate the FG has decided to display wickedness and insincerity on this IPPIS issue. Telling lies and using propaganda in the media. I'm sorry for Nigerian students if these issues are not harmoniously resolved before resumption. They will be at the receiving end. We have been talking about falling standard of education and all manner of unwholesome practices in the system, but what we are about to experience if Govt tries to arm twist ASUU to submission will be alarming. Discussion with an average Lecturer in the by University shows that they are very bitter and sad with the way Govt has treated them. Some good ones are already looking for alternative means of survival and have vowed not to bother about the good of the system again, while the bad guys among them now seem to have a ready excuse and motivation to extort and make unnecessary demands. Unfortunately, it is the students that will bear the brunt. 3 Likes 1 Share |

renzie: This is really the crux of the matter. Wasting students time. One of the headlines on Thisday newspaper today is 'Federal Government urges ASUU members to consider farming as alternative profession'. You can imagine that. To them, this is a joke. 4 Likes |

BluntTheApostle: Don't be fooled. I'm in the system. As a matter of fact, in one of the Federal Universities as an Academic staff. I have read comments on each and every page of this thread with keen interest just to get a view on public perception of the ongoing imbroglio between ASUU & FG. I had no intention of commenting, but you've pushed me into breaking that vow. Summarily put, It's sad my inference suggests that many Nigerians are oblivious of the truth. The situation on ground appears beyond their comprehension. Ignorance has eaten really deep into our society and it's glaring from the comments here. Someone even went as far as claiming her (if she's truly female) dad is a Prof. and earns over N1.4mil - that's not only preposterous but outrightly ludicrous! - broad day blatant lie from a virago, from the pit of hell! FG seems not only smart, but also capitalising on public ignorance to peddle falsehood against ASUU and pull wool to cover residual vision of the many intellectually impaired Nigerians! Fact is, this issue is more complex than the average Nigerian (including our students) can comprehend. It's a shame we choose this path as a nation. Ridiculing education and the last bastions of hope for the profession shouldn't be contemplated. 8 Likes |

Mare12345:My dear, I just pity Parents and Students. Nigerians don't seem to understand what is about to happen. Unfortunately, the whole thing will rest on the head of Parents and their children in Universities. Our politicians have their Children in foreign Universities. They don't care what happens in Public Universities. We have the most irresponsible and careless leaders. Inflicting hardship and pain on defenseless citizens. All through the COVID lockdown no effort was made to resolve the ASUU strike. They preferred to hide under pretence of lockdown to keep our schools closed, While doing nothing about the strike. 4 Likes |

renzie:the vcs of all Nigerian owned universities should employ new people that want the job and clear out these ASUU selfish personalities....closing the tertiary educational system because of ippis is wickedness....its is detrimental to our future educational intrested citizens and our already existing students are forgetting the importance of what they are studying and so on....I call ASUU a terrorist organisation and should be removed from our schools. |

Xixtie:I know your type..... The ever insulting small-minded, lowlife miscreant male who poses as a female on nairaland. I guess your low self esteem pushed you into creating this pseudo account to hide your real moniker. Read what you just wrote and tell me if it makes meaning to you. As you claim to know 'the system front and back' why not dish out figures to counter what I wrote? I repeat, chief lecturers go home with averagely 360k and pay not less than 105k all round deductions! 3 Likes |
