My general advice, when watering starts, try not to move so much except for when you are rolling from one side to the other.. the water can tear your back if you keep moving to control the impact of the water on your back
2.. the cadets would want to water you say like 7-12 times.. if you do hard guy and don’t cry or roll around, it can double to 20+.. if they believe you can take it, they will want to do till you get to your breaking point...
3.. when they file us out for watering parade, wear thick boxers.. maybe even 2 or 3..
4.. don’t approach a cadet that knows you or you’re familiar with for watering... you’ll regret it..
5..it’s only 9 months and Sarham is still there..prepare for this watering parade from 1st week and it’ll last for hours...after which proper jobbing will commence..
6.. start training your wrists by pushing weights(pushing it with your hands almost close together and not wide apart)... it’ll help you when you start hanging up.
7..if e sure for you, buy slippers now and start practicing with anti plant...
8... the best time to have started running your 3.20kms was early this year.. if you are waiting for list before you start you will be on your own..
9..try your best possible to not buy job for your course mates.. they can press your neck in the night lol.
10.. nothing like sleep in the academy! Enjoy it now..from screening you’ll understand
11.. Expectations create disappointments.. don’t expect anything when you get in.. just live life there everyday as it comes and pray! 9 months will feel like 9 years but it’s not entirely a time of suffering.. there’d Be time for laughs, fun that you create amidst yourselves, etc.

Some people don rugged from house. Way before entering NDA. So even if the thing no dey pain you, just pretend it is coz if they see say you dey do strongman, they won't stop. One too is whatever job they give you , exagerrate your wailing ad crying in agony. Do like you're about to die. They'll free you faster than when you dey form badoo.

One tip to survive in the academy don't do I too know, don't come first and also don't come last when it comes to job, don't form strong man if not they will suffer your moda is that clear. Just dey for middle. Everything that happens in aca remains in aca

when you spread RC jobs for 5 years... the body has enough time to heal and adjust.. when you compound 5 years worth of brutality into 9 months for a man.. he tends to smell madness ..

Nope, I disagree with you. The Army cares alot about them. Take for instance, promotion aspect. To be promoted from 2nd Lt to Lt takes 5 years straight (HTACOS, 2017 revised). But RCs spends 5 years and 6 months to attend dat rank (your year of service commences immediately after resumption for cadet training).

But SSC in d oda hand spend 3 years to get to dat rank ( 10 months of training plus 18 months of post POP period = 28 months, which in actual sense is 2 years and 4 months).

The Army gives SSC additional 2 years "ante period" of as a "gift" for promotion.

Bro you don't know what you're saying no offence bro. What about the years SSC cadets spent in tertiary institution?? Majority of SSC will retire after 15years of service. All regulars have opportunity to make it to General cadre except if they fail promotion exams

You can't compare the years rc spent and normal civilian. NDA cadet are the real officers itself, the reason why most would retire is lack of interest or failure in exam so calm down. Your first 5-10 years would determine if the interest would be there or not. Do u think its all nda cadet that makes it general? Some do drop out, so its a fair thing. Most won't be able i.e SSC won't make it cause of the age also. The training those cadet had for 5 years even your 9 month can't meet up. They are also studying likewise training but u just went to school for 4-5 years, u didn't do any training unless u joined cadet or man o war in school which can't be counted. If u want a fair chance, u can as well go back and write jamb and join NDA. As you advance everything becomes slim, and politics comes in place.

Watering was the beginning of my problem, the first cup, I screamed like am dyieng to an extent that the Slt (JB Ebesidor) looked at my eyes and said "Young man! you are not fit. They brought you here & you are going to die here!!!"
