Osimhen won the golden boot in the 2015 U-17 world cup. There was also a certain team in that tournament that had players from Man City, Chelsea, Everton, Stuttgart, Man Utd, Liverpool etc.

He didn't if u ask me. He has a pro career and is feeding his family. We have to get away from the notion that all our youth players must become great footballers. Honestly if he had said he wanted to go to school and become a doctor instead of playing football I would be happy. Our goal should be making them great MEN in the future.

But judging by his talents shown at the U-17 level, let me just say and I gotta admit I expected just a little more. Not all lads go on to be top class or world class footballers but being a decent one at least was on the books but that hasn't exactly worked out.

And yes, in the end, football will come and go and they will have the rest of their lives to live after football. Being Men of Value even after one's football career is done, should be the Ultimate goal for them. You are right.
