Maybe we should also start considering Ashley Young and Chris Smalling as legends cos they spent way more time than 4yrs.

You can do whatever you like, but legendary status can be eroded and tainted. Ronaldo has recently irked United fans, and his performance at Madrid has reduced his status at United. Paul Ince for instance did what legends do at United but he is not a legend at United. You cannot compare Ronaldo with the likes of Rooney, Giggs, Scholes, Charlton, Keane etc. Ronaldo is a more of a Madrid legend. For me once your name doesn't embody a particular club, your legendary status is watery.
Nothing irks me more than seeing the clubs official Twitter handle celebrate Ronaldo whenever he a break a record. The same Ronaldo that scored against us and celebrated like the club meant nothing to him...

Keane clashed with team mates and Fergie, and he has never said anything good about Man Utd.

If you have been to Old Trafford/Manchester before you won't even doubt CR7 legendary status.

Hate him or not, Ororo is a legend and he won titles you celebrated.. SAF loves him, the club loves him. He's a legend and he has records to show for all his exploits. Not some 1999 tap-in UCL winner

Abi ooh.... Cantona spent 6 season at United (same as Ronaldo) without winning the Uefa Champions League, Ballon D'or or World best Title, yet he is a well respected Club LEGEND. Anyway the debate sef don die down, looking forward to seeing Telles and Cavani do well for us (if Ole's taktiks no mess dem up also grin).
