My neighbor picked me up today, always had d feeling he's a Uber driver based on the way he leaves early and comes back late.

But wat surprised me was he said assuming he knew it was me, he would've declined That he doesn't even accept trips from or to our estate (probably he doesn't want anyone to know he's an Uber driver).

They (neigbours) do offered me many offline trips in fact am currently on sweet deal offline. With uber and offline, am saving nothing less down 30k after all expenses.

I usually dress to kill like am working in the bank or doing white collar (I embrace whatever that's putting food on the table for me).

I think ehailing drivers should be very careful this wild period and please we should be very conscious when it comes to picking people at night, bolt and uber need to do alot of screening and should be held responsible for anything that happens to any driver on their platform when such things happen becoz I know it cant happen in other developed countries.
Lastly please avoid offline trips if it is not your regular customer.

I later bought the car outright although I’m currently doing some engine work on it and still owning some balance.

Also, with moove and part time work (networking and programming) God has been taking control.

Bro sign this car out on a 3month rental with an option to HP after the 3months. Its better than waiting for an outright buyer or a hire purchaser with almost 300k down payment. The country is hard already it will take you time to get sb with such an amount plus selling 9ja used cars are diffuclt, most buyers wont price well.

Nigeria is really messed up!
Though one cannot be careful enough but discretion many times saves ( if Allah wills).
I had one experience last year December. Was still a new driver on Uber then. Around 10pm, this request beeps and i accepted, called rider; said he's going to Lekki or Sangotedo area. In about 5mins, I arrived at PU(Ilaje in Bariga).
Two men and a woman came out with some light loads and was asked to oo3n my trunk.
But I alighted from the car before opening my boot in order to quickly peruse what they are putting in my trunk.
Hmn, i was a broom, wooden box for seating, cutlass and some other stuffs in a sack.
My heart beat immediately accelerated to about 250 counts per minute. I didn't outrightly cancel the trip cos the street self was so deserted.
So i started the trip and on getting to a third street which was still active, i switched off my engine and pretended there was a fault. I ended the trip there. They were somehow disturbed but do i care!!!
They moved away from me and I think they were making another request but me just zoom off.
