Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by AbuTwins: 9:43am On Oct 08, 2020
Enskynelson:

For you to graduate, you must meet a minimum of 34 TCE (all core courses inclusive). Choose all Core courses first then add electives in such that you will not have less than 34units combined in both semesters.

From what i saw from the website, the total unit course for 1st Semester is 32, Core=20 and Elective 12
for 2nd Semester is 33, Core=28 and Elective 5
Total 65, Core=48 and Elective 17

NOUN fees always varies depending on the courses you pick. But a budget of about 70k ± should do.
Semester registration 35k
Course registration 2500 for 2units, 3k for 3units
Exams registration 2k per course
TP 10k
Project registration 25k

Greetings everyone. I’d love to ask few questions about NOUN as I’m really considering enrolling in a masters program. Now my questions go thus:-
1. Is NOUN an entirely online program? I mean can I do the entire program online without attending any physical class ?
2. Will the exams be online too ?
3. This answer to this will be dependent on the first two questions above - Can I run masters degree from another country. Let’s assume I’m in Ghana or Kenya. Can I run the noun masters program from there?
Anticipating a swift reply. Thanks

1. No. You still need the Study Centres for exams. Although during the pandemic, NOUN conducted exams that were completely online. Whether that will continue or not, I don't know. If that continues, it means you will be able to virtually everything online as all your application processes can be done online at the moment except that u have documentation at your chosen Student.
Because of the earlier stand on writing exams at Study Centres, it was clearly stated that you cannot run your programme from outside the country. So, a lot depend on paragraph one. You may need to contact the academic registry for more information. If you need the contact, you can send me a DM.
Cheers.

HND does not qualify for any Masters Programme. You need PGD first.
