Hi Friends,

I am Lawrence Ifeanyi by name, an entrepreneur, E-com Guru, and Digital Marketing strategist. I have been into MINI-IMPORTATION for some years now.

i just came here to share my own quota of almost every information regarding MINI-IMPORTATION and the processes involved in MINI-IMPORTATION and how you can be able to leverage on this knowledge to start making money online through MINI-IMPORTION business gradually until you start making up to six figures from it.

https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCgKtWGWbeWIKi3INCxr78Sw/videos

To start with, I have not come to give you huge promises that never works. All I know is that "there is money in MINI-IMPORTATION business" if you learn from the right person and implement the strategies accordingly.

NOTE: I have not come to tell you that if you start today with 20k then, the next month you start counting millions. Anyone who tells that, is giving fake promises. All you need is consistency in the and proper channels of marketing and the right then, you can be able to scale up gradually and before you know it, you start counting yourr millions. grin grin grin

Enough of the preamble, let's go into the business of the day.

PROCESSS INVOLVED IN MINI-IMPORTATION BUSINESS

To start with,

Q. what is MINI-IMPORTION?

A. MINI-IMPORTION is basically a business model which involves the process of buying/importation of goods from other countries websites of the world in smaller quantities into your own country. Take Nigeria for instance. Whenever you order products from other countries like: US, China, Turkey, Dubai, Vietnam, Indonesia, India etc in a small quantity and gets the products shipped to Nigeria, you have basically undergone the processes of MINI-IMPORTION to be able to achieve that particular. And that is why I am here today to brakedown all the processes involved in MINI-IMPORTION BUSINESS taken Nigeria as the case study, China as the suppliers country for the importer and the import website/portal as 1688.com.

Now,

Q. why do we prefer 1688 and china as the import source?

A. The reason is simple, China is the only country you can get products at the cheapest prices compared to other countries of the world. Also, using 1688.com as the import platform, it's because the website is strictly made for Chinese citizens, and it the website is written in chinese language and so, products are more cheaper their than other Chinese websites. In 1688.com, you buy products at a wholesale prices. Which when you bring in such products here in Nigeria, you sale at a huge profit. As a matter of, there are other Chinese websites/platforms where you can also buy products from.

They are websites:
1. Alibaba.com [English version] of 1688.com
2. AliExpress.com [English version] of taobao.com.

Right now, our fucus is on 1688
Because the website is in Chinese language and meant Chinese people, it makes it very difficult for you to buy products from this website if you are a starter/beginner. Now I will brakedown every of the process involved to buy and import goods from 1688

Buying from 1688.com a lot of middle men in other for you to be able buy and ship down products from China to Nigeria using 1688.

These middle men involved are:

1. Shipping agent:

This are freight forwarding companies who will help you receive your ordered goods from your your your supplier/seller in China, then help you package it and send it down to Nigeria for you. These companies always have warehouse in China and warehouse/office in Nigeria. Most of them are in Lagos. Normally, how it works is, after paying for your goods on 1688 (this is done by procurement agents using Alipay or yourself if you have activated or verified Alipay account). Your supplier will ship out the product from his location down to your shipping agents warehouse in China for pickup. As soon as your supplier sends out the product, a tracking number of the goods is generated which you need to copy if you are using your own account or ask you procurement agent to send you so you can forward it to the shipping agent who is to receive the goods on your behalf for identification and receipt.

NOTE: You cannot buy from the website (1688) directly with your master card. The most acceptable payment method their is Alipay or through Chinese bankcard.

2. Procurement agents:

This are agents who can help you pay your Chinese suppliers in their currency (¥) or (RMB) but you need to send them the Naira equivalents of the total (¥) or (RMB) whought of your goods.

3. Wechat/QQ app:

These are Chinese mobile apps which which you basically need to install and sign up accounts so you can be able to chat your Chinese suppliers without language barrier. This app has an inbuilt translator which enables you and your Chinese suppliers translate between English to Chinese and Chinese to English respectively.

Now to operate the 1688 website, you basically need Google Chrome browser for you to be able to access the website and understand it so you can be able to make use of it in sourcing for products. The reason for []bGoogle chrome[/b] is because it has an inbuilt translator which automatically translate the 1688 website from Chinese to English language.

3. How to source for products in the website:

This is done using, English keyword, Chinese Keyword or Image for advanced and detailed search.

Benefits:

1. You can negotiate prices with the Chinese suppliers and buy products from the even more cheaper than what is listed in website.

2. You can ask a seller to refund your money if the goods you purchased is not delivered to you or damaged. We have discussed a lot of this in our youtube channel which you can watch here:

3. You can download product videos from the website which will help you in selling and marketing your products. All discussed in our youtube channel. Our channel name is (LAWRENCE IFEANYI)

4 You stand a chance of buying directly from factories and direct manufacturers in China yourself.

Note: Only buy what you can sell or create to avoid keeping of goods or items at home

Also ensure you compare prices of items you want to buy from on online stores like jumia, konga etc in Nigeria before buying (if you are buying to resell).

If you want to see videos on how most of the 1688 transactions are done, check our YouTube channel here:
