Samueltemi337:
Super eagles is useless without Ndidi

Osimhen has no replace

Both Samuel kalu and Simon are trash

Onuachu should never be called again

iwobi won't perform without Ndidi

We still need Etebo

The oyinbo wall is back

Okoye is a good goalkeeper

Kalu and Moses aren't trash they had a bad game yes but trash no, Iwobi was trailing into the defensive third more than he should so you're right he needs Ndidi to perform

Okoye Second choice
Uzoho First choice

Ebuehi is back, Zaidu is a gem

it also has to do with individual quality, it's not his fault that none of the wingers beat their man for once in this game, it's such a big shame.
Then they should play closer together....use the triangles or diamonds and outnumber their opponents....Barcelona in the iniesta and Xavi era rarely cross the ball....they just outnumber their opponent in every phase of the game and strike with ruthless precison....Rohr should develop an identity for this team by playing to this team strengths!

dis game goes to show we don't really HV d depth we think we HV especially in d midfield...rohr needs to strt scouting for capable midfielders both home and abroad, it's of no use having 10 osimhen in a team wen u don't HV pple to deliver good balls to Dem..D only positive iin dis game is dat we won't b having nightmares as regards our left back, sanusi was very impressive and did well against a tricky customer in mahrez, jat needs to work on his crossing.

This match is Nigeria's worst of the decade
But there are some positives

*okoye
*sanusi
*iwobi
*ebuehi
The rest are trash most especially that palm tree ( Paul)

very true, at a point I began to wonder if it Sudan or Burundi was playing

This is not about coaching. Both teams struggled.
This is the first time the players are playing together this year.
It is not as easy as it seems. Abeg free them!

I honestly do not think Rohr had a plan for this match. I’ve tried to analyze our approach in the 1st half and now and cannot make sense of things. It seemed like he let the players just play anyhow.
Plan was 4-2-3-1, worked well in the first half, change of personnel (Agu for Frank) upset the midfield chemistry.
Good game from both sides. Nice to see tijani play.

Algeria were cohesive atimes but we were largely disjointed for most part of the game!

Rohr might not understand all these, this game was a huge disappointment

The coach is to be blamed for our defeat no tactical input in this game, everyone was just playing it's individual game. At 80mins the team was still sitting deep in their half, when most coach would be throwing everything they got our coach decided to defend a goal down, it's a fuckinq friendly.

Kudos to Ajayi, Okoye, Sanusi, Balogun and ebuehi you guys gave me something positive to think about in this match.

Maenwhile Ekong fidgets like a toddler with a ball on his feet....so much for a vice captain!

Its really a big shame that our wingers can't deliver decent crossings, one begins to wonder what they do in training, it's so bad that our CF is the one taking corner kicks, it's so appalling, smh
Samuel kalu and Chukwueze were a big disappointment in this game

Those Algerians will not give you room to operate...they are ffucking aggressive and tough to play. We need to play them very physical...dem nobi Oyibo...blacks in oyibo skin. Cant you see Ajayi was getting frustrated, so was Balogun but Akpoguma na tough guy and he remained discipline , checking their speedy runs and intrusions. You need a 100% disciplined Nigerian side to put these Amazigh in their place. If you play cool with them they will bloody you up while screaming pains!

This Algerians are very aggressive and they put their life in line....that much is obvious. I only saw like 18 minutes and they totally dominated the midfield with aggression and quickness. Set piece let us down again but I am more impressed with the composure of our backline...Balogun is still a badaass player and Akpoguma played with that Germain discipline. Agu should have started...dude has massive confidence on the ball and Tijani get liver. The boy will be good in few years. Iwobi ? He was not terrible and I am surprised his confidence is getting better and Nacho still got those good long range.
you reallly can't tell who played well for a match you only saw 28mins of action. So FEM

And you will judge with 20 minutes ?

Balogun was the best CB in 90 minutes And not even ekong

Akpoguma will start for eagles ,I stand to be corrected

Gernot Rohr should start playing with 2 mobile centre forwards, playing with a lone striker is not effective especially when you have clueless wingers

nice game, we definitely missing some of our key players,I feel the coach should have done better with the midfield selection, but we shouldn't fret on that, it's just a friendly.

we bounce back against Tunisia.
Be like u don coach b4? Friendly's are friendly. That what there are. Opportunity to see some new guys.

Modern day football is a function of possession, high press, intensity and outnumbering ur opponent even in their half....This coach should get serious or he will end up wasting these huge potentials at his disposal!

No he had to put in a lot of hardwork, with Ndidi out of the game he had to do a lot of defending

Never rated him. Though this is just his first match, but even before he declared for us, I always maintained that Awaziem and Omerou were better.
