Hello guys. I've got to say this. We've only got a bunch of average players in our squad. Save for one or two players. This is a bitter pill we all need to swallow. Personally, I'm struggling to imagine professional footballers who have been training and playing football for years getting jittery on the ball In a match. Despite the fact that they're only playing against an average team in just a friendly match. It's really sad. Embarrasing. This display today made me feel as if I was watching academy players. struggling to string passes together. Even to trap the ball. My god... I never expected such from a team that is rated among top 30 by FIFA. For a team "brimming with talents" and " foreign borns". |

Kog45: I am not much of a follower of the Bundesliga and I have not watched so many of Akpoguma's games. Truly, he was highly rated here. Truth be told, his performance was below expectations. However, this is his first game, I hope he has what it takes to settle down fast enough. |

I'm happy that Okoye performed well today. Someone wrote him off even without touching a ball. Thank God for time and opportunity. 1 Like |

mehn an eyesore of a match My observations: Ndidi, Etebo and Osimhen don't have able replacement. Will love to see Dessers tho. Agu and Onuachu should just take this match as a testimonial. Azeez is miles ahead of whoever we paraded in the middle today Ebuehi and Sanusi were very good. Chukwueze and Kalu probably had their worse performance in a Nigerian jersey so far. But then, after they were substituted we had zero goal threat. Their poor performance could be because there was no striker they could link up with. Ekong was probably the worst of any of our player who played as a defender today. Balogun was really impressive Okoye was very solid and confident Gernot Rohr has to be the biggest flop today. Zero reading of the game, zero tactical input. Poor substitutions. Tunisia has to be better and hope we see more of the new guys as well so we'll know who are the quality ones and who are the pretenders 1 Like |

Calm down guys. Friendlies are experimental. It is the essence for having them at all. There are very little at stake so they are only a sounding board for untested players and set-ups. Of course it is disappointing to lose any game BUT the results of friendlies is never the priority. That said I doubt we can really hurt Algeria if both teams fielded their strongest line ups and it was a cup final. |

mostob: Our pressing game today was almost non existent...we didn't even commit enough men forward.. Iwobi appeared to be the only one trying to get the ball to Onuachu.. Seriously,Rohr needs to scout for some more decent midfiders..maybe get Ejaria paperwork done quickly... |

Icon4s: That's the main thing. He was rated highly. Like, he was going to waltz in and bench everyone in the team. E for better make dem make excuses for am that he was played out of position, but saying he played well? That's a lie. At a point sef, in the Algerian box, I saw him gasping for breath pointing to the person wey wan throw to wait. I was like, ahn ahn? It was very noticeable because Ebuehi might not have been excellent, but he did well. Kevin just went opposite And some of us still came here to clap for him |

The one thing I kept thinking in the course of the match, was the fact that we had nobody on that pitch that could reach deep and produce a moment of brilliance. Iwobi had his occasional shots, but it would have been a whole different game if fighters like Osimhen and Aribo were on the pitch, people that can sprain their thighs just to nick a ball into the net, or fire an unstoppable shot. There was nobody with that extra fire, the movement was almost pedestrian. Chukwueze didn't play alongside his paddy; he and Osimhen have that chemistry Iwobi and Kelechi used to have. Long and short, it was a decent game and there were a couple of positives. |
