barackodam: Yeah, I saw that moment too. And I was like now-now? Good we have secured him all the same. But remember how Balogun and Ekong also started. In fact Balogun even cost us a goal on his debut game. Well let's just hope Akpoguma settles well enough. |

On a final note, whatever response I've seen here is typical of Nigerian fans. The moment we lose a game, we become the worst team in world football, we win a game and we are the next best thing since God created the Garden of Eden. I can remember how we praised our team after we drew Brazil. Now we lost and all of a sudden our players are academy quality. It's just a friendly guys, let's not allow our emotions get the better of us. We were poor but all the same there were also some positives. Like the coach said, it's just to test. Good night guys 4 Likes |

junnyjake: Azeez would have come in handy Well!!!!!!!!! I pray so cus i loved his football at u-17 level We were doing alright in the first half when we let there central defense build play, defending mid block, activating the press when they pass the ball to either fullbacks. with onuachu pressing the center back from the goal post angle and the winger pressing the full back on the ball and only going for full press when there is a forced back pass. In the second half we tried to press high during their build up play, coupled with limitations of our midfield, opened spaces in between lines for them to play through with iwobi trying to do lots of defending. Our wingers did not get in the groove at all. |

The lack of creativity in the midfield is glaring,I noticed it at AFCON 2019. This current Super Eagles lack a proper centre midfielder, Rohr should make sure he never misses inviting Ramon Azeez in subsequent matches so long Azeez plays the La Liga, although Azeez isn't world class he adds a bit of creativity and balance in the midfield. This Super Eagles team is really a midfielder who can control the tempo of a game and retain possession. Edopesin: |

Both teams haven’t played together in nearly 1 year, so that’s to be expected. Unfortunately, I think that many Naija “fans” are just too dumb to know how to put things in perspectives. O pari Odunayaw: |

At a point I noticed chukwueze was frustrated, maybe bcus our NEPA pole of a man couldn't connect... , (u should have seen his face on 3D). Ebuhie was good, I notice his calmness on d ball, maybe match rusty, but OK. Sanusi was d revelation, he placed mahrez in his cage (u need to see live chicken of a man he is in sanusi's cage, to the extent mahrez started committing foul). Balogun was my MOT. Gosh! Look how confident he is, controlling the ball and sniffing off threats. Iwobi was brilliant, I think Ndidi and Aribo would have made him unplayable. Osimhen was madly missed. Kelechi brought a bit of urgency at the late stage. Tijani played 6mins, only 6mins and he was everywhere winning the balls and as well creating channels for attack. Wat a lad he is! Rhor needs to learn how to read games and Make quick substitutions. OK, bye! 1 Like |

temi1290: Ekong is not a terrible player, we've seen him had good games too even better than Balogun at times. He hasn't played this season, hence, his rustiness. He's a decent performer on his day. 1 Like |

temi1290: I have no idea the meaning of that question. It is harmless bants to you, because you are not the one constantly being attacked, it is not harmless bants to the person being attacked. The fact that most of you lack emotional intelligence, is no surprise, considering this is a country filled with such people. Bye bye |

Here’s the full game, you can watch it again, this time without tension. We weren’t too bad. The only problem with our game: they overran our midfield, which is understandable as we play with a makeshift midfield pairing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x04mEbBcJXY O pari 6 Likes 3 Shares |
