Informanta:well you can design payslips and also get tax clearance certificate if you live in lagos or Abuja. I don't know about other states. In lagos your employer can assist you to get TCC and if u live in Abuja you can get it yourselve. Note that you cannot get a positive assessment with EA without third party evidence like pension, TCC or bank statement showing your salaries in the account either of the above must suffice. |

Good day my ogas on this thread. Pls I have my occupation (project builder) renewed in April when it expired after 3 years of no invitation. With the current trend I'm only praying for more state to start sponsoring it as the pandemic gets reduced. But I'm thinking to assess another occupation wc is bricklayer by adjusting my jd. I have a BSc in building from oau. Is the degree not too high to use for bricklayer?. I dont want TRA to bounce me. Also I want to know if assessing bodies share informations. Would TRA knows that I have positive assessment from vetassess? Pls I want to be cleared about this as bricklayer might give me a quick invitation. Thanks. |

annex1: What is your occupation? How many points do you have? Do you know that you can create another EOI? |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 11:03pm On Oct 08, 2020 |
metrecube: TRA will have no issue with higher qualification as long as you can demonstrate that your JD fits into your nominated occupation. No, assessing bodies don't have agreement to share information. The money is important to all of them. |

I'm 37 years old, worked for 13 years as an Administrative officer with a federal institution, got my degree in Primary education in 2020 from NOUN with no experience in teaching except my one year teaching practice. divorced with a daughter. What are my chances or should I go through study route ( masters)?. |

If you had assessed as a bricklayer, you should have been a PR by now but it is still not too late. Dust your degree certificate and transcript and apply to TRA. Make sure your JD aligns 80% of Bricklayer. Include your payslips, bank statement highlighting your salary, and make sure your manager or lines manager signs your form. metrecube: |

Experience4u:Yes. You are right. Project builder was on all the lists then and like 4 states were sponsoring it but what do I do with unstable immigration policies. My assessment and ielts expired, I have to do another English test now and put it in for TRA. |

Hello guys, I just stumbled on this thread, I have been reading and I have some questions, I studied animal production and health services but I don't any work experience in this field ( I'm actually a software developer). On the job list I found "meat inspector" (which I feel is closely related to my course of study) for visa category 190, 491. Is there any possibility I get a positive skill assessment from VETASSESS even without work experience? |

lowsugar:First, Admin role is not on the list. With your primary education degree, you can check AITSL website for the requirements for assessing as a Primary school teacher. One of it is IELTS Academic with 7.0 in Reading and writing and 8.0 in Speaking and Listening. Others include a 45 day teaching practice in a primary school. You stand a good chance if you are able to get a positive assessment from AITSL |

Codedboy95: We are obviously not Vetassess assessor here but can only give a guide. Vetassess requires at least 1 year paid work experience with evidence in the occupation you are nominating before a positive assessment can be given. Your Animal production degree should be related. 1 Like |

@ Bellong and Tunlex , please i need clarification on some things in the filling of tra online form as an apprentice... There is a section : Add Apprentice where the name of employer, date apprenticeship commenced, date apprenticeship completed, qualification obtained and Date of Award are required. Another section: Add qualification where Qualification Obtained, Date of award, Name of Institution, Name of issuing Authority(e.g Ministry or technical board)...Date training commence, date training completed are required My questions are: 1.Trade test being the qualification Obtained and ministry of Labour and employment being the issuing authority, will the name of institution be the the organisation that one did the training from or what 2.for add qualification section, will the date training commenced and completed be that of trade test or that of apprentice...reason for asking this is that trade test cert from ministry is not a traning on its own but just a test to certify your competency on the trade you have already been trained on elsewhere but it still span over 3years(meaning you can do a test in a year) Thanks in advance |

Kudos to everyone.... Just got a positive assessment from VETASSESS for Fleet Manager after I was assessed negatively for Transport Company manager last year. Adupe f'olorun. Now wifey wants to get assessed by TRA for ICT Customer Support Officer: She has 6yrs working experience as an ICT support officer BSc computer science - unilag The challenge - she had an extra year but has transcript for just 4yrs, as unilag stopped issuing transcript to students in an spill-over year. Can she use the 4-year transcript? As TRA doesn't gets transcripts from the institution. She'll be the primary applicant if all goes well... Cos Fleet Manager isn't on 190/491. I'll appreciate any advice to utilise my own positive assessment. Thanks 1 Like 1 Share |

@tunlex, @bellong & other gurus: pls respond to the extra year issue I asked in my earlier post: cos all efforts get the comprehensive transcript (including the extra year) keeps hitting a brick wall. I also think with my Fleet manager positive assessment, I can't apply for 190/491 so thinking of doing another assessment as Transport coy manager to boost my chances... Does it mean that if wife's assessment comes out positive for ICT customer support officer, and she being the PA, my own assessment ( Fleet Manager) is enough? Just trying to get everything ready |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by tunlex01(m): 9:44pm On Oct 13, 2020 |
babajava: Congratulations on your positive assessment but I was wondering why you assessed for that Occupation in this first place as it's not available for 189, 190 or 491 She can upload the 4 year transcript she has and her certificate. TRA will verify with the university. I don't think there is any way your FM result can be used for the skilled migration. |
