There is pandemonium in Abuja as #EndSars Protesters shut down Force Headquarters and demanded to see the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

The protesters vowed not to leave the premises of the building saying they were ready to pass a night until IGP addressed them .

The angry youths stormed the premises of the building on Saturday morning in continuation of their agitation for the Nigerian government to scrap the Special Anti Robbery Squad ( SARS ) which they said has become a killing squad.

A senior police officer who came out to address the crowd was interrupted as they demanded for the presence of the police boss.

All entreaties by the leader of the group and human rights lawyer, Abdul Mahmud to persuade the youths to listen to the officer was unsuccessful as they stood their ground and sat on the road.

Meanwhile gun wielding policemen were on standby while the standoff continued.

There has been growing outrage against the SARS over the continued brutality, torture, harassment and extra judicial killing of Nigerians.

Which will be the worst thing Buhari will do.

Nigerians will die in thousands but the government won't exist again.

No military can defeat their own citizens.

Even USA military.

There is power in unity. If only the South can unite to accomplish the goal of self determination, unite to break away from Nigeria and form our separate countries and take our destinies into our own hands to build the kind of countries we can be proud of and create the kind of future we will be happy about.

jmmmmm..... it's getting interesting ooo, they should reform the organisation, not totally scrap it, because hoodlums will have a field day when they realise that SARs are no more.

i.g should better address the masses now, before these whole thing will escalate to something else oooo.

This is what happened in the western region in 1966

Operation wetie had paralyzed the region. Over 2000 cars were burnt. The yorubas didn't want akintola. Balewa couldn't do anything because he had lost the goodwill of the Yorubas by helping akintola rig the election. The police were not effective. Part of the north were protesting the high taxes imposed on them by bello.

The country was going to burn if nothing was done.

The military stepped in.

You know the rest.
