Cowards!

You must find every opportunity to absolve yourselves especially when your cowardice is visible to all.

During the peak of Fulani Herdsmen killing, the Igbos were the one vocal and shouting like they can effect real changes and put the herdsmen in their place.

When the SW produced Amotekun, the Igbos dare not and instead queue behind the state police and yet people don’t drag you for it.

If it had been the Yorubas that backtracked, you would have been screaming that the Yorubas betrayed you or bla bla bla. Coz your logic will be that the Igbos created a local security network while the Yorubas still remain under the Fulanis.

Maybe if Kanu had started the IPOB outfit in a better way by not attacking other people unjustly, maybe people would have been more willing to support you with everything they have.

You guys are double mouthed and neither here or there.

If the Igbos states had been the one protesting enmasse, you would have been on Nairaland shouting brave and terming other people cowards.

Now you see your people are the real coward in this case and you had to come to Nairaland daily to find an excuse for your cowardice by terming under different headings.

Let me tell you something, even if you protest End SARS in Ebonyi, it won’t generate that much awareness it need than if it happens in the Southwest and that is the truth.

You are angry that people don’t protest with you or support you during Biafra, why should we protest alongside you or support you? Is Biafra not an Igbo agenda? Do you support the North when they implemented Shariah?

What about IPOB constant abuse on other tribes, do you want to reap love where you sow hate?

SARS is a menace bedeviling all the Southern states, if you guys like don’t protest. It won’t change anything because those people that can really shake the nation are already protesting and it is gaining traction.

The West and the SS is enough to pull the required publicity and I’m sure the Igbos residing in the West are also part of the protest like we’ve seen PSquare and Runtown. So that is covered.

Although I can see people protested in Imo state too.

You guys attribute too much importance to yourself while in reality your SE states are actually not that enough to effect any nationwide changes.

Check all the history of the protests that have shook this nation, majority of them happened in the West!

I will advise you take just 1min to read what you typed and meditate on it and see your stupidity and hypocrisy you clearly exhibited.

1. You're claiming the importance of Southwest at the expense of other tribes that has contributed immensely in terms of population and economy development for you guys.

2. The reason why the international communities will focus on Lagos and Abuja is because both cities are Capital of Abuja.

3. The actors in the protest and why the protest is gaining momentum is not because it's a yoruba states(Southwest) but because the actors are celebraties that resides in Lagos and Abuja. Take away the celebrities and you'll not see the crowd you're currently seeing.

3. With the Yoruba and minus the Yoruba Biafra will still be materialized because it's a DIVINE project. The fight for Biafra is for the good of everyone irrespective of your tribe, so therefore get that stock in your chicken brain.

4. Another reason the protest is going viral is because the Yoruba owns the Media which they uses for selfishness, thereby hiding the truth from the public.

5. If not for the hatred and bad leadership of this wicked Government, would the Southwest region be a do or die destination for Southeasterns or Southerners to want to come and resides or do business?

6. Many people seem not to be getting Kanu attacks. First, it's out of love and secondly, he attacks both the Igbos. So therefore, anyone shouldn't take it one sided. And a wise, will not be looking at the messenger but the message.

7. Are the claimes of Kanu false? Is Freedom fighting a selfish fight? Is Kanu fighting for a selfish reason? If you say it's a false claims then challenge him with facts.

God bless NK

Very soon Nigeria would become an history and we'll all see the top most destination for Africans, and not just Nigerians.....

Bro I am Igbo and I have tweeted, protested and donated to the protests. See SARS in Lagos is even good. The SARS in the east are from the deeper parts of hell. Read about akwuzu SARS. The easterners need the end SARS protest more than anyone. I don't even think this people making this divisive threads are easterners. Most of them are government officials who have been paid to sabotage the ongoing protests with tribalism. Unfortunately it won't work because SARS is a menace everyone is tired of. Everyone down south can relate.

You're certainly not Igbo so stop the impersonation. Ndigbo though affected by the SARS virus will not join the protest. We support you though. Talk about disintegrating the evil contraption and see us troop out en masse. Until then, you have our blessings as you protest. Also, remember not to cheer the blood sucking Nigerian soldiers again when they come to kill our protesting brothers.
Support the division of Nigeria. It is the most honourable thing.

Lol. You're correct. Carry on with your protest as we watch you. Next time, remember not to cheer the criminal Nigerian soldiers who love to shoot our brothers when they protest. We're not cheering the police shooting you people now.

Forget these people, their hypocrisy stinks to the high heavens. They would have congratulated SARS has it been innocent unarmed IPOB/MASSOB that was killed. They only remember that extra-judicial killing is bad when it is them on the receiving end. Endsars is nonsense

I am cool with biafra and oduduwa as long as bini people have there own nation as well and there no violence in are region
gidgiddy:
I have often said it here on Nairaland that SARS is a state sponsored terrorist organisation and I stand by it. They have killed and brutalised many innocent people.

However, I think that we Igbos should not participate in the Endsars protest despite the fact that many Igbos have been the innocent victims of SARS.

1) Endsars is pointless. The government of Buhari, which we all know is more for Northern interests, will not end SARS. The extra-judicial killings, torture and brutality of SARS is mainly in the South of Nigeria, it hardly affects the North. SARS cannot be ended without Buhari's permission and if it is not affecting the North, why would he end it?

2) Even if SARS is ended or scrapped, will that really change any thing? The Police, Army, Navy, DSS and other armed forces will still be brutalising and killing innocent Nigerians daily just like SARS. Whether you end SARS or not, other arms of the armed forces will still be doing exactly what SARS is doing. The protest should not have been Endsars, it should have been 'end all armed forces brutality and illegal killing'

3) Nigerians can be hypocrites. Many of those protesting Endsars are the same people who kept silent when different branches of the armed forces were shooting and killing unarmed IPOB protesters. Some of them are happy when they see unarmed innocent Biafran protesters killed, tortured, made to lay lay down in muddy water, dehumanised and detained. They dont care because its not their tribe or Region. They only remember that injustice is a bad thing when SARS is doing it to their people. They dont know that the injustice you support or ignore today may become the injustice that may be done to you tomorrow

Note: In 2013 SARS arrested over 30 unarmed non violent MASSOB members, murdered them and dumped their bodies in Ezu River, near the border between Anambra and Enugu states. Rather than condemn this national scandal, many none Igbos went on the thread below to thank SARS for wasting the lives of those young men. The same people are now carrying placards and shouting Endsars because SARS is now killing and brutalising them. They only remember injustice when it is them on the receiving end of SARS. Pure hypocrisy!
