Tigers are stronger n bigger than lions, that means they have the advantage already... but if you're bringing both animals to face each other pound for pound (same age, weight etc), then the result will be 50/50...

I think the lion will win...

Adult male lions are known to rarely hunt. Their main task is to protect the pride from rogue lions looking for a pride to take over. And there are many records of male lions fighting to the death to protect their pride.

In the case of a tiger its different... they are solitary, so they hunt alone whether male or female... a tiger will usually back off from having a serious fight with another tiger so it doesn't get injured and unable to hunt..

do you know that hyenas are very brutal but the only thing they are scared of is a male LION....they can go steal the food of a female lioness but they can never dare a male LION. ... well to me Nat Geo rates Tiger more than a LION but a LION is very wicked n arsh...dem dey no get sympathy..a Lion is a conqueror.
