So how is that his fault? At the end of the day there is no stat such as aerial balls won that translate into possession. He won the ball and it was his teammates job to get on the end of it.
Vasco, simple question. Did his head and jumping translate to any positives for the team? Just say it as you saw it

Nope. I don’t think so. I believe the NFF will allow Rohr to bring back his foreign assistants at the AFCON, if we qualify. Modern coaching is no longer a one man show.

You get liver to talk about the performance in Russia? Would the Super Eagles even have qualified for that World Cup in the first place, if not for Rohr? Where was the team before Rohr took over?

At a stage where we can’t even qualify for the AFCON on two different occasions from a group featuring the likes of Guinea! The team Rohr took over was such a hot mess that even mediocre foreign coaches were respectfully declining a chance to coach us.

Now Rohr has cleaned up the team and we’re talking about “all the talents” at his disposal. Where are the talents? How many of our boys are playing week in week out at their clubs?

Please enough of all these delusions of grandeur and realize that our players are average at best. Player to player, Algeria has a lot more talent than us.

Rohr have always been with his assistant.
The only vacant sit RN is the U-23 position and NFF need to act on it.

That he qualified us for a world cup does not mean we should keep basking in the euphoria. We had made it to FIVE(5) other world cups before. We salute his man management skill and his pulling this team from the brink of obscurity but we want more than just playing and participating in tourney. The Algeria coach needed just a year to build an Afcon winning team and you can still see the progress they are making. This super eagles team do not have a defined playing pattern or identity after been coached by the same man for more than 4yrs now...We saw the gradual progression of the westerhof’s team that culminated in the historical 94 squad. Rohr may end up just gathering this pool of decent talent for a more tactical astute coach to design a winning formula. Peace bro!

Perspectives folks. We’re still in rebuilding phase unfortunately. The Core of team Rohr met when he started are no longer in the team: Mikel, VicMo, Ogu, Ideye, Enyeama, Ighalo, Onazi, etc.

While rebuilding he should play to the strength of the team and be more dynamic with his tactics...He has lots of young and skillful offensive players and yet he is ultra defensive when he comes up against good teams. We still dont know what to expect wenever his team takes to the field....that has to change!....plus not all the players westerhof met in 1989 when he first took over were part of the 94 team but he had a clear vision of the pattern of play he wanted to acheive....we want to see some consistency as there will always be change of some players as the team progresses!

Agreed without reservation but one question ❓

Is that the best team that we could put together considering the number of potential players we have across Europe.

You and I know that these players are what they are - POTENTIAL. I won't count my chicks before they hatch. There is no need to assemble a fantasy team. It's a total waste of time. We will only be building our castle in the sky. Until the potential players commit, we need to learn how to make use and get the best off what we have.

Rohr pulled a gaffe by starting Onuachu. Onuachu is not a bad player but as confirmed/stated by the coach, he doesn't suit out system. There was no need calling him when he won't fit in. It's an act of cowardice and ineptitudeness on Rohr's part. Poor decision if I must say.

If Paul must play, he then should play alongside those who will bring out the best in him and vice versa. The eagle has we know it have been flying on inverted wings ever since Rohr took over. From Victor Moses to Ejuke, we haven't had a decent crosser in years. Gone were the days of Finidi, Utaka, Peter, Obinna etc who were flank players with sole purpose of crossing the ball. Onuachu will thrive in such a system. Our full backs are also not helping matters.

One question for you @Komekn. Do you know of any FB eligible for Nigeria who is good with crosses? You can as well suggest such player(s). It will be of help to the scouting team.
