Hi bro, Please I am here to help... what is the question?

I am planning of applying for MA education in UK also thinking of working after my Masters. Though I am a certified teacher, register with Teacher registration council. I am asking if my professional certificate qualify me to work in UK without PGCE certificate?

OkoromolaFarms:
Good afternoon great people, I have some questions about my tier 4 visa application.

I was refused visa because the ECO did not check my statement of account documents on my application and they assumed that my sister was my sponsor because I added her UK bank statement on my application. I requested for administrative review and it came back successfully but my application was now referred back to the original case working team for reassessment and the decision making team will be in contact with me.
My question is has anyone had this type of experience before and how long did it take the person to get a response from the new decision making team because I have waited 19 days now after the successful administrative review.

Great people with Home office experience should help with answer. Thanks in anticipation

Good evening fam,
Please elders in the house I need your help. I have an offer to study in Jan and my husband is going to be my dependent, I plan on depositing the required amount for my maintenance in my account while my husband put his required maintenance fee in his account. Is this arrangement ok? Or must we deposit both amount in my account since I’m the main applicant

Hello All,
Arrived UK today 10th Oct. Ethiopia airlines( no covid test required). At the point of entry, I was asked which school, course, is husby planning to stay( he answered no but went further to explain that he needs to be there to help with our accommodation and school for the kids. He said he plans to be on and off) . He was asked how long he intends staying and hubby said about a month to 6 weeks. Depending on covid.

Would love to know which other nairaland platform I can graduate to to help with life as a UK post graduate student. Any links? Thank you again house .

Are they travelling together or seperately.... if together I doubt if they would ask any question to dependents. It would be the main applicant.

If separately then just normal question what u doing in UK. Spouse visa. What program is the spouse doing?... etc. Questions regarding the visa the spouse is here for . But nothing hard or too long expect if looking suspicious

Seriously, It is quite difficult right now due to the whole pandemic . I have been helping someone to secure one even after obtaining UK license from Nigeria. Employers are not willing to sponsor tier 2 visa for someone from Nigeria and always looking for someone that has UK teaching experience. This is quite different for those in Health discipline as NHS trust is the main body employing them. Local Authority is the one responsible for Teachers' recruitment in Scotland. Most private school owners are not also willing to sponsor tier 2 visa. It is much easier if you have student or dependant visa to come over and then start job hunting from there. It is a very rewarding job for those that have passion for it, This one week is our mid-term break and you will be happy to stay at home and get your full salary at the end of the month cheesy

You can only teach your qualified subjects, though with few exceptions. A Physics Education graduate is qualified and licensed to Teach Physics, Maths and General science, whereas Mathematics graduate can only teach Mathematics and nothing else or less.

Exactly, People are loosing job everyday. Companies shutting down daily, restaurants and pubs not making enough money to employ more staff. Employers are finding it difficult to even survive this whole economic downturns. Best is for everyone to hold their job very tight now o smiley, 2020 is actually a year of remembrance undecided.

I am even confused about the right answer . Since you already have HND in Geology, I think its better to apply for MSc in that Geology discipline, while keeping your PGDE and TRCN as a second option? The worst is for them to give you a conditional Teaching license which is better than nothing.
