Danielnino00: But Nwakali is abe. Double standard bigoted hypocrisy. When Etebo was unable to hold down a shirt in the Championship. He was as much as l like him left in the dark by perfomances by , Reading FC teenager Olise, as well as Eze, Ovie and Tega Onomah. This is the same Etebo regarded by many as our best midfielder, me included. What then do you think would happen if these Nigerian origin players were given the same opportunity to play for Nigeria, who are much better at club level than him. |

Bolowolowo: Ovie 100% has been waiting for over 2/3 years and l have no doubts about Tega and Eze, l do believe Olise will NOW be found amiable to the suggestion. |

komekn: Have you seen me clamour for Nwakali's invitation?? Maybe when you stop using English football as a yardstick to judge footballers, you will have a clearer view of what football is like.. Etebo was already a key member of the super eagles before he moved to championship He was our best player at the world cup before he moved to the championship.. That he struggled at Stoke city doesn't take anything away from him.. Onomah on the other hand hasn't been impressive since the season started ..even in the championship,he didn't pick form until late toward the season... We need players who can be an improvement on what we currently have... Onomah isn't it..tell him to step up... He played in the laliga and was decent.. You were bragging so much that he would be a super eagles player in no time .. Has he even declared to play for us? 5 Likes |

The next comparison in Nigerian football will be between Tolu Arokodare and Joshua Zirkzee. Both are young, strikers and now in the same league and they are both Nigerian. One born in Nigeria and one a diasporian Nigerian. It will be similar go Osimhen and Tammy Abraham. In the next 1 or 2 years the comparison between Arokokare and Zirkzee will start. The idea makes me smile and its intriguing |

JayromWrites: If you mean that Tolu is lying about his age then i dont think so. He passed the VAR test as he played in the u-17 and so at least he is close to if not exactly his age. As for now Zirkzee is better because he is more experienced and exposed but then Tolu may even catch up and be better now that he is getting exposed to better coaches and facilities. ha... I don start to compare them allready |

tbaba1234: If i was the coach, i will try out Samson Tijani and Chidera Ejuke to see how they can fit into the team. Now is the time for experiment. If they play well, then they will be great addition to the team and improve the team. if they dont play well, then we learn something from that This is a friendly and Rohr should not be afraid to experiment |

If you were Rohr would you experiment with a different starting eleven and risk being beaten twice in the space of one week Or would you keep most keep most of the first eleven and make little changes? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 11:22pm On Oct 11, 2020 |
Karlovich: Onyedinma was not wise became emotive at Millwall and declined a move to Watford and QPR. Then things changed and got so bad with his manager Neill a quintessential kick and rush football manager. Fred refused to play at Millwall and left to league one. Fast forward he was the key player that engineered thier promotion to the Championship. What has Nwakali done beyond youth football and struggling to get on the bench at both Porto youth team and Huesca. For the past 5 years. In this regards Onyedinma has done way more past, present and continous. But we will never hear people talking about them here non stop. People talk about Nnamdi Oforboh as a prospect when both of them played at Wycombe, Fred Onyedinma was considerably better and way ahead of Oforboh. But nobody talks about hi But this is the double standard prevalent across this discourse. Benrhama who played against us and was running circles around our midfield is actually a Championship player. |

Subzero047: That our players are just ordinary. Algeria was not at full strength too and we were not just beaten but TOTALLY outplayed and to be honest mediocre. Onuachu has been blamed a lot by some here as the main culprit. But what is the point of having a man mountain striker and nobody could cross the ball with precision. The midfield we had was totally inept although the perfomance was just very poor. |

Subzero047: I watched Sanusi with great Expectations a lot has been said about him here. But he completely failed to live up to the billing, he is fast. But beyond that technically poor. Maybe l expected too much, l did not see one good cross from him. |
