I am looking at possibility of MSc in Geology but HND might not qualify me for MSc. The leave is almost 17 years. I am even confused about the right answer . Since you already have HND in Geology, I think its better to apply for MSc in that Geology discipline, while keeping your PGDE and TRCN as a second option? The worst is for them to give you a conditional Teaching license which is better than nothing.[/quote] |

Thanksss: I think side hustle or minimum wage jobs will always be there. Although the more people lose jobs and companies go burst the harder is it .....so if you want to use this method, have a backup plan. Normally while one is schooling and working 20hours the other is working full time and pulling resources together paying the tuition is possible...... at least before covid it was very possible what becomes of life after graduation only time would tell what post covid looks like .nobody really knows for now 4 Likes |

You are free to upload. You don't need the precise address , "Deputy British High Commissioner," British High Commission Walter Carrington, V/I Lagos. Dazzal. Ikeja is a processing office not British High Commission. pwettyhardey: 1 Like 1 Share |

blazerjewel: It's a breach of the rules, which require both parents to be present when a child dependant is coming along, and since they made that rule for a reason, so you might want to note that going forward. |

Administrative Review can take as much as 3months that's why some people shun it, if they have to resume ASAP. After that you then be asked to send in your passport. What I don't get is.... Have you gotten a message saying it's successful? If Yes next is "Call for passport" Submit Pick up... May not be speedy either. Just Trust God OkoromolaFarms: |

Zoey1: Yes, I got a mail from administrative reviewer stating “I am satisfied that your application needs to be reassessed and I have referred your case back to the original case working team for reassessment. They will be in contact with you with a new decision. If you are refused on the new decision you can request for another administrative review” I got the above mail on September 23 |

kc6964:Minimum wage is £8+/hr There are jobs for £9-£11. Let's say you get a £9/hr job. 20 hours gives you £180 a week. Sometimes you might not get all 20 hours. So let's work with 17 hours. 17 hours gives you £153 a week, and £612 a month. If your rent is £300-£350 pcm (I will peg it at £325), you are left with £287. If you spend £30 weekly on feeding, you are left with £167 for that month. In 10 months, you would have saved £1670. How much is the rest of the tuition? During Christmas break, you can get 3 weeks holiday, during Easter break you can get 2 weeks holiday. These breaks are when you can work unlimited hours, and you will be taxed. If you get £400/wk after tax, that's £2k for the total break. Deduct rent, feeding and miscellaneous from it. These monies will come in piecemeal, not in one block. You will receive several mails from your school to meet up with your payment plan. 10 Likes 1 Share |

You are such a kind person taken your time to break down the whole expenses. Thanks so much i really appreciate at least many of us will benefit and understand what it takes to survive over there as a student especially those going for self sponsor like me . Am going for master's program and tution fees is £13,500 if i make a deposit of 3000 pounds, the remaining £10500 with your breakdown i don't think i will be able to meet up with the rest tuition fees unless if i apply for student loan and pay back after my program that is if they do give.( reincarnation: 1 Like |

ladydelish: I hear there's a TLS app. Android and iOs. Download and use it. Or go back to the confirmatory email from UKVI received when you filled the online application (the one which contains your full name). Open it, log back into your Gov.UK page, then click the green boxes as if you wanted to book an appointment with TLS all over again. The last green box is "Provide biometrics...". When you click that it takes you to the TLS website and you'll see the options there "Amend", "Track", etc. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
