You are such a kind person taken your time to break down the whole expenses. Thanks so much i really appreciate at least many of us will benefit and understand what it takes to survive over there as a student especially those going for self sponsor like me .

Am going for master's program and tution fees is £13,500 if i make a deposit of 3000 pounds, the remaining £10500 with your breakdown i don't think i will be able to meet up with the rest tuition fees unless if i apply for student loan and pay back after my program that is if they do give.sad(

If you are for January entry. You should be able to meet up with your tuition fees payment, but be ready to do all sort of jobs and sacrifice the good part of your holiday for work.

Morning people , on the passenger locator form where it is asked "which country or island will you be to or have been to" what will be filled there . Cos am not visiting any island and not transiting any country it's a straight flight. Also, will the partner dependent fill the form seperately.

I just filled in Nigeria as well.
Then I filled in departure date from Nigeria, it allows you to avoid filling in arrival date.

Partner dependant has to fill in form as well.

Thanks so much...so the patnér dependant should also fill the under 18s part of the form too, even after the main Applicant has filled.

I am even confused about the right answer . Since you already have HND in Geology, I think its better to apply for MSc in that Geology discipline, while keeping your PGDE and TRCN as a second option? The worst is for them to give you a conditional Teaching license which is better than nothing.

I am looking at possibility of MSc in Geology but HND might not qualify me for MSc. The leave is almost 17 years. If going for undergraduate, how do I package the whole thing?

Please, I need your reply on this@STENON,Justwise and other gurus

Thanksss:

This is wrong, That Change of name is not necessary o,I think our gurus can clear us on dis @ justwise @lagosismyhome
Before you say something is wrong, I think it's better you take each issue based on the context. The question was directed at those that have done and what they used. The answer was my own instance and not talking for any, other person. But if there is one thing you should have in mind, it is that you want to prove your case beyond any doubt and in my case it worked for me. Not interviewed nor any non straightforward case.

BTW, nobody knows it all, we are all learning from one another

Some schools accept HND for MSc but not sure of the long gap . I think if you have some years of working experience in Geology within that 17 years, You can try applying directly for MSc in Geology and wait for their decision..You have nothing to lose as UK school application is always free of charge and faster than other countries. wink

That's the beginning of reassessment.
OkoromolaFarms:

Yes, I got a mail from administrative reviewer stating “I am satisfied that your application needs to be reassessed and I have referred your case back to the original case working team for reassessment. They will be in contact with you with a new decision. If you are refused on the new decision you can request for another administrative review”

I got the above mail on September 23

Add your date of birth certificate.
quote author=pwettyhardey post=94776235]Good evening Nairalanders,
I'm planning to apply for my visa tomorrow and want to confirm if I have all the required documents. The documents I have
1. BSC CERT
2 TRANSCRIPT
3 WAEC AND ENGLISH LETTER OF PROFICIENCY
4. MY FATHER'S BANK STATEMENT FROM 8th September to 7th September
5. IOM TB test result.

I would love if anyone can vet this for me and let me know if I still need other things and some things I need to know. I'm doing it myself.

Good morning all

Just a quick update.
( September 4th Standard service)

I call the UKVI on Friday and they promised an escalation of my application.

This morning I didn't get a decision mail but I went ahead to track my application via TLS site it shows " Application transferred to VAC"

Hope to get further detail today and a positive outcome on my application.

I think a Letter from your father too. A letter stating that he is your father and that he consents to you using his funds for your schooling

Please has anyone had issues with Tuberculosis screening at IOM and had to wait for weeks to get the certificate due to inconclusive X-ray. How long was the wait and what was the outcome? Anyone with such experience should please share with me. Thank you

It happened to me in July 14th, I completed my sputum test July 22nd nd I got my certificate Sept 23rd. It was negative tho.. nothing do you.. it will come out negative ijn. I deferred my admission to January intake bcus of it tho. We were three that did it together. The two other guys have submitted application for Visa. So calm down nd be hopeful.. people should do exercise, steaming nd drink warm water before they go for TB test. At least, that would clear chest.

Thank for your response. Is it advisable to call UKVI to escalate my application. If yes, what number should I call.
Also, does anyone have an idea of how long reassessment will take?

Hi good afternoon everyone, I’m new here. I’m trying to fill my ATAS application and there’s a section where I’m being asked to fill my supervisor’s name. I’m going for a taught programme, what do I do?

Why did you put your sister's statement of account?? How much money was showing on your personal statement of account for the 28 days?

Thanks for your response.

My brother in the UK advised that my sister should write a letter of pyscho-social, emotional and financial support if the need arises. so she included her statement of account with the letter. I am sure the ECO did not bother read the letter.

Converted to pounds sterling, I had over 53,000 pounds in my personal statement of account for me and my dependants. the ECO did not bother check for my statement of account

You are free to upload.
You don't need the precise address ,

"Deputy British High Commissioner,"
British High Commission
Walter Carrington,
V/I
Lagos.
Dazzal.

Ikeja is a processing office not British High Commission.

Thanks Zoey
I'm married, and my husband is not going with me now, he's planning to join later?
Do I need to upload marriage certificate now?
Or he will be the one to upload when it's time
