I feel your plight but remember we didnt have a CMF he needs to improvise a formation that won't be much need for a CMF and the improvisation worked out well ...no caps
Bro. .pls be sincere with me, are you part of the coaching crew or what?
Who drafted the team invitees?
When Etebo and Aribo got injured, why can't Rohr call up another CMs?

I think our performance today was better than on Friday....
Nevertheless,I have a few points to make

1) Ajayi should not play in midfield again..aside good aerial controls, and some good tackles,be brings nothing more else to the midfield..his passing and ball control are poor...abeg,he should continue at CB
2) Chukwueze is off form, Simon has improved really well..
3) Musa has no business starting games for the SE for now... Baba has lost it...he should be coming in from the bench if at all he must play
4) Iheanacho despite his penalty miss and occasionally fouls and poor control still remains the best backup for Osimhen..his goalscoring abilities are definitely still there. Deseers tried for the few minutes he got.

And finally,Rohr is still clueless as always... Why didn't Aina play? What's the pont of having 2 natural RBs and u go ahead and play makeshift RBs, I mean what's the point at all?? You have Agu that can play DM,but u used Ajayi as makeshift.. I'm sorry to say the friendlies have been a waste of time...I can't see anything positive to take away from it,except maybe Okoye....

I hope the list of November should be based on club form and not the other way around..we don't want match rusty players in the team...

Tijani got just enough time. He is one for the future so that was just about giving him the experience.

The future starts today. Ansu Fati is about the same age o.

Team is developing....wow.. after 4 years.
To be honest Rohr's team selection and tactics is quite difficult to understand.
Sometimes I wonder if he is simply trying to confuse the opponent or himself.

My Broda Rome is not built in a day these player are inexperienced he is bringing out their best let's chill till AFCON we will pull up a good performance.

Iwobi performed incredibly well today. He assisted Iheanacho for that goal, but it was not recorded sha.
And I think our goalkeeping problem is solved,Okoye is good.

We all expected a CMF in frank and tijani but disappointed they couldn't even string one or two passes togther.
Are those two a natural CMF?

In my personal opinion rohr played as a genius today my second best match this year. 80% of the players that played today are team b players but he gathered them and brought a good performance see football is not always about wining the team played a nice football.
Rohr proved to be a genius with today formation we all know our two formations are 4-2-3-1 and 3-5-2 but in a short period of time he came on with 4-1-4-1 the team didn't even train with this formation and yet the drew with the second best team in Africa haba this is positive in my opinion am looking forward to rohr developing this feat he pulled up a pep-like feat today .
Ahhhh
You called that a good performance?
Toh...it is finished.
Have a good night rest sir.

Wait, before you sleep, you even mentioned pep?
Like pep guardiola in the same sentence with rohr?
Abi you meant PEP clothing store .

Least I forget, Iwobi was good today! Our best player on the pitch... He was everywhere..
He and Simon have definitely improved!

I believe he would have performed better if he had a better midfield to support..

really embarrassing and annoying that a squad of 4 fullbacks and 5 wingers not one of them is a consistent decent crosser when they are not vampires.

as a matter of urgency we need midfielders fast.

yes Iwobi gets an A for effort.

Musa looks spent. Omeruo doesn't look too far behind. disagree about balogun. He was clearly our best defender in these two games still has a good one or two years left. only major positive from this international window is at least we have another decent goalkeeper who can give Francis good competition. biggest let down coach rohr no sugar coating it he was poor with his tactical input for this two games needs to do better.

AFCON still about 15 months away so there's still time to improve but serious improving is needed.

Agreed

Moses na baller

Semi cannot play that spot. Its an eyesore. His long balls is the glimpse of hope so far. Our Defence went asleep for their equalizer. Moses attacking and defending well again. Phew. Nacho good so far. Zaidu.....

Chuks is okay, but needs pull some Pepe.
yeah that lovely ball from Deep that found Moses Simon was the highlight of his performance tonight. Other than that as a midfielder he is a complete Carpenter

Overall, a better game than against Algeria. A more experienced starting line up. The team played with more intensity.

Maduka Okoye had another brave outing. A much improved goalie from last year. I think Rohr is trying to establish him as our second choice goalie.

The defense did creditably ok again today. Balogun and Omeruo combining well at the middle. Akpoguma played the RB like a CB, zero movement forward, he however settled better when he was moved to his CB position. Zaidu Sanusi, played almost same way as last game: good with short passes and dashing runs, but his crosses always let him down.
Awaziem came in and introduced more pace and movement on our right side of the pitch. A good game for him.

A better midfield than in the Algeria game. I give Ajayi kudos for managing that his make-shift position of Defensive Midfield. Not an easy position to play if it is not your regular position. Iwobi did better today: a lot more creativity and better passes also with a high work rate.

Chukwueze, showed some flashes of brilliance but just like in the last game, his end product was poor, also isolated for most of the game.
Simon had an improved game. But his finishing was poor. With the kind of formation Rohr played today, i expected Musa to be that link between the Wingers and the main striker, but it appears Musa is almost due for retirement: lack of vision, poor ball handling and lack of pace. Ejuke, a very lively player but over does himself. A player like that will hardly start a game because you are sure he will not last up 60mins on the pitch grin

Iheanacho, high point was his goal, low point was the penalty miss. He did ok, kept the Tunisian midfield and Defense busy. Cyriel Dessers, Finally! But didn't make any recountable Impact upon introduction.

Well, overall a fair outing for both games. With lots of positives to take home. Looking forward to seeing the AFCON qualifiers list especially which players to be dropped when the regulars that missed the friendlies return.
