When will Nigerians learn that these are pyramid schemes that will collapse and new investment that is used to pay old investor untill it collapses..... Nigerians lost 30bn in MMM and other unknown schemes ... There is no free money anywhere, even Dangote with his big factory is doing 27 percent per annum. Then someone will tell you he will give you 170 percent per annum? 95 Likes 13 Shares

ahiboilandgas: Blame the free/idle money circulating around the economy. A lot of financially educated people are aware it may be a pyramid/Ponzi scheme but go ahead to take a calculated risk to invest. Eg. An investment of 1million in 6months will give the same yield of an investment of 10million for a year ( approximately). Risking 1million naira to give the same returns 10million naira will give you even in a shorter period is a risk a lot of people don’t mind taking. 154 Likes 14 Shares |

lol Na hardship n greed they cause am It's a game for the early birds the late birds will be the casualty. Everyone involved knows it will eventually crash but needs to cash out quickly before it crashes It's may sound wierd but professional ponzi investors make alot of money too 103 Likes 2 Shares |

The smart investors have gamed the mba system. They have “cashed out” more than what they put in and are on green so nothing you say or tell them matters. The biggest “potential” losers (since the system is still paying) are those who will have more money in mba forex than what they have taken out from the system when a collapse happens. For now, no matter the advice you offer or what you tell them, they will only think you’re a hater or envious of mba forex. The written violence going on on their thread will make you wonder. Sometimes it’s better to just observe and let things happen. 45 Likes 9 Shares |

Only fools are still putting money in MBA Forex. The earliest investors have cashed out. Vodina West one of the founders of MBA has left. She is a lawyer and she knows what is coming. Chris Oyakhilome who gave Maxwell Odum award last year has washed his hands off MBA Forex. Only fools remain with MBA. Once MBA collapses, other forex scams would collapse cos confidence would dissappear. 110 Likes 9 Shares |

ahiboilandgas: It's something inherent in human nature, not Nigerians per se. Moreso, this is a named business venture - financial market trading; very different from MMM which is strictly come gambling. Whether these firms are actually doing the trading or not is entirely another story. 15 Likes |

RealityShot: Actually, seasoned disciplined traders can make way much more than the 10/15% returns these firms pay out monthly. Unlike the stocks we can't short here, one can trade either way in FOREX so 50% tanking could be 50% profit for who is trading that direction. Point is no one is looking at these organizations books though to know if they are actually doing what they claim to be doing let alone regulating their businesses and that is just about the major fear in investing there. Good businesses do turn rogue even in the face of max regulatory searchlights beamed on them not to talk of these ones that are freewheeling. As they always advise in these kinda things, if your longathroat cannot be reined in, invest what you can afford to lose cos harmattan and rainstorm fit come together. 49 Likes 5 Shares |

Nigerians are greedy in nature, the reason they will keep falling victims of Ponzi schemes. I give 5% Return On Investment every month, but people don't want to invest with me. They say my 5% is too small, thereby taking the money to Ponzi schemers. 6 Likes |

Why una dey like to take panadol for another man headache ? There's no investment or business that's risk free. Investment is about losing money and making money. I don't think it's a big deal If MBA and BARA crashes and people lose money. You guys are always quick to mention how much people lost in MMM but fail to tell us how much money people made in the same MMM. Sometime in 2007, I investment in Afribank shares and today, with all their government approvals and certifications, the money is gone. I am left with only the useless certificate. And that's what investment is all about. OP, you remind me of my erstwhile best friend, Chijioke (curse be upon him) who is now my worst enemy, who discouraged me from buying Bitcoin when it was cheap some years ago. He's a poor man whose fear of losing money is stronger than his desire of breaking out of poverty. People like you are the type of fools who would give their all to pulpit bandits in the hope of going to heaven to enjoy a life they are not sure of after death but are quick to shout "scam !" when they see an opportunity that is turning lives around. May I not meet people like you again in my life. 144 Likes 12 Shares |
