You mean Halaand wants a release clause in his contract? I highly doubt it. Release clause is mostly put by clubs, and some leagues also makes it compulsory, e.g. La Liga. That is why Barca usually put ridiculous release clauses in their player's contract.

I don't think the government will toe the military path as that will surely make things much worse for them.

Apart from the SARS/police brutality quagmire, the youths (including myself) need to protest peacefully against the humongous pay and allowances of the National Assembly, the decades-long issue of epileptic power supply, and clamor for restructuring, just to mention a few.

If FG doesn't strategically force these protests to end by caving into some key requests of ASUU in a bid to make sure students go back to school, I don't think these protests will stop anytime soon.
