Good day everyone, i just registered for 2021 intake through UKEAS, after my application was submited by UKEAS ,I didn't get any confirmation mail from the school (shellfield hallem university). Please why is this so? Are there times a person doesn't get a mail as regards submission, how to i get updates as regards my application. Thank you

I got to Edinburgh on Monday morning (BA) no one ask for covid test. On thing I will advice people is that pls and pls have ticket for your final destination... if u are going to Glasgow, Manchester etc make sure you have your ticket heading to your final destination.... some students have issue with this. Try weigh and your bags. I paid 80k for extra luggage. Know a little introduction abt your course in case you are called by the border control officer. If you're going for MSc, you have to compete your studies before you can switch to Tier2. Only PhD students are allowed to switch to tier 2 after 12 months of PhD study.

I am an experienced software engineer working in Dubai. I have decided to migrate to UK and want to do it via Msc route. I want to do Msc software engineering at a top university in UK and I saw one from oxford university that I am really interested in. But the program is part time for about 2 years. My questions are
1) Is it possible/likely to get student visa for part-time Msc program?
2) If yes, Must I finish the part-time program before I can convert my Tier4 visa to Tier 2 visa even If i get a job during the program?

The guideline says "Do not collect your BRP if you’re self-isolating because of coronavirus (COVID-19). The Post Office will keep your BRP for 60 days. Collect it when you finish self-isolating"

Well I would say have a compelling statement of purpose. When I got the Dean scholarship (which is the extra 1k) the letter states that they were impressed by my SOP. Tie whatever experience you have that relates to your course of study (even voluntary) also if you have any professional certifications that will boost your profile, state them. I finished with a 2.2 and my WAEC which I used for english proficiency was over 20 years ago (they requested for waec scratch card though). So I believe any body can get it.

Hi Quille,
You really don't have much trouble, just walk into any Federal High Court. Present the WAEC certificate(for sightseeing) and they will prepare an affidavit to cover the name omission.
Make sure the entry is noted in their record book for reference purposes.

Once you are done, all you need to do is scan the document and save as WAEC attachment. Submit along side your WAEC result for any application.

A piece of advice, don't patronize touts around the court.
