smallsmall: You are so wrong in your assertions. No 1 fallacy is that since1998 when my parents took me as a teenager to US embassy for visa interview and they were rejected, I have never entered any embassy all through my adult life till present at 39 years old. I love Nigeria my country and have made up my mind along with my wife never to japa, unlike many of you who would do almost anything to leave this country. I have made this decision despite the fact that between me and my wife, we have over 15 family members, not to talk of church brethren, who are citizens abroad in USA, Canada, UK and Brazil & could easily invite us to come over. So, I love Nigeria more than you and your co-protesters whose 5-point requests have been acceded to by the government, and all is required from you is to give them a time frame within which if the requests are not met, you can commence fresh protests. But rather than do that, you choose to continue with protests which can be easily hijacked by negative elements. As for me, I have ideas that can change this country little by little which I have penned down and in conjunction with support from other private citizens, and government (whenever we need them), will change our country for the better, irrespective of the political class. That is more patriotic to the nation than continuing protests for something the government has agreed to give to you and have begun acting on it. You called me a traitor...a traitor is someone who sells out or brings destruction or hurt to his country in favor of a foreign power or personal gain. Do you know that these protests can lead to civil war? From your words, you have never experienced war before...if so, you will be wise to know that a very thin line separates protests and civil strife and war. Ask them in Somalia, South Sudan, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. If your protests lead to civil war, will it move the nation forward or backward? My idea of moving the nation forward which some other people are already doing is far better than endless protests that will lead to a grounded economy, more lives lost and eventually war. Who then is the Traitor between you and me? Go and study your dictionary again to understand the word - Traitor. I will soon list a few things to show you what war is like.. perhaps some people will glean or borrow wisdom for once! Modified... When #Endsars becomes a full scale civil war like the 3 year Biafra civil war....the following will happen: - No school for 3 years (their lives are delayed by 3 years) - No work for 3 years - members of your family die from starvation - Your mother, sister, wife, daughter raped or kidnapped and used as a sex slave by soldiers/armed men for 3 years with the attendant birth of bastards - No internet for 3 years - incommunicado to the rest of the world ...our youths lives are dependent on the internet more than any other thing in this age - Numerous lives lost - Destruction of your house, possessions and property rendering you homeless and a fugitive.. I can go on... Unfortunately, when war starts, you can't say "I no do again"...it will take it's course..lives will be lost, the country will retrogress several years back. Conclusion: Make una borrow sense! 3 Likes |

Maxymilliano:then why are they blocking roads, I also have the right to use the road, why will they forcefully close people shops? Why will they stop people from going to their working place. You are claiming your right but you are clamping on other people's right why? |

CilicMarin:Have you asked yourself why do these same people leave muslims alone to block federal roads when praying on Fridays? They turn a blind eye for that but are active for protesters blocking roads. The contradiction is too glaring. 2 Likes |

tot: May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. We all want this to change and that's the reason for the protest in the first place. Now SARS as been disbanded, government as also accepted the 5of5 demands and they are being implemented. So it's time to stop the protest and wait to see what the Government are doing. Two wrongs doesn't make right #EndProtestNow Let the Government do their job |

tot:They should start the reform and not promise it. Anything short of regular evaluation of active officers of the NPF is a trash reform. They should screen them regularly for alcohol, drugs and pay them well. Detention should be strictly based on evidence that can stand in court and not on suspicion. These and more will be a better option than just changing logo and uniform of criminals with badges. 1 Like |

CodeTemplar:nobody ask Muslim to block federal roads, could you remember when they blocked the chief of army staff? I remember people like you, majority igbos were protesting in support of shiit blocking of roads. People like were saying that the Muslims have the right to block the roads and pray now you are saying a different thing. The truth is that you people are doing this because Buhari is the president. You people hate him but unfortunately majority love him. Therefore, you have nothing to do, Buhari will be there till 2023. |
