sikowitz17: Omo... This year 2020 never born finish, first it was Covid-19 lockdown that threatening a possible enlistment, thankfully the lockdown was lifted and enlistment commenced. Then we faced the worst and frustrating registration process ever, the site gave us issues till the closing day. Now we have this protest. My own take is that by God's grace this whole uncertainty will play out to our favour. Las las these Course 47 and 26 will be the best ever, because we endured a lot. Even with the bloody months of July and August, we all stood strong with the zeal to serve and defend our fatherland. I pray that everyone on this thread makes it. Victory is from God alone. 8 Likes |

sikowitz17: Army no dey try oh, this guy basheer Bala 58rc, finished economics with first class, Sandhurst graduate oh, came back to naija only to be deployed to North East. He was caught by IED and we went to visit him in 44 kaduna. I was really surprised at his level of professionalism, despite on wheel chair. That was the first time I heard about first hand experience of what a war seems like. 2 Likes |

sbashir10: That's one thing with the military especially army if you like graduate with first class upper, normally such people are expected to be military instructors in any of NA's institution but that one no concern them, they may post you to go and fight especially when you're a combatant (RC/SSC). There was a very brilliant officer I think a Lt Col that was an instructor in NDA (during GEJ's tenure) only for him to be redeployed to the north east the man no even last six months before they killed him. He's family even petitioned the then COAS suspecting foul play but I don't think anything came out of it. Hope he(Basheer) didn't lose any body part? 6 Likes |

beta247: Guy relax, when list come out you will be given comprehensive guide. Some people would even link you up with nice officers to help you sign. Amongst the whole process, making list is the toughest while signing is the simplest. With your name on the list you kind of develop a kind of courage to enter anywhere to get your forms signed. For now your best bet is to pray, fast and network (connect) where possible to make list. I have already promised to give a comprehensive piece about signing of the forms after interview list is released. 7 Likes |

Wow! I heard one gist like that some years ago that personnels normally "japa" whenever they go to the US bring ships.. Didn't believe till now i just read your post.. But why doesn't the Armed forces declare them wanted and fish them out?? Isn't deserting a mortal sin? sikowitz17: 4 Likes |

I've been thinking... Most religions condemn suicide and see it as a sin; punishable by ever-lasting torment.. Now if a soldier, in the heat of battle, shoots himself im the head? Is that suicide? Would the said soldier go to hell? If yes?.. Now what if, a soldier pulls the pin on a grenade and kills both himself and enemies surrounding him, is that also suicide?? I no know how to phrase the question. I just hope someone gets what I'm trying to ask.. 2 Likes |

It is suicide but we simply don't know what prompted it and also only God can answer that. Second question isn't suicide, he is an hero but everything boils down to the fact only God knows. Joshater: 3 Likes |

Oga I already lost three cousins to bokoharam. Two Colonels and a terms 3 cadet who left afaka after the second Colonel was Kia. It's not in our blood to be captured by the enemies. Never. And am not ready to change the narrative. Mind you, I used to see one of my cousin's with a green dagger ️ with one sharp side and a saw like side, I hope to have something of such. inshaAllah, am not just gona die by Boko haram execution. There agenda is not worth my blood at all. 2 Likes |

I’m sorry I won’t kill myself man.. na American film go wan make us off ourselves.. what if the minute you are almost captured is the same minute your boys will launch a counter offensive to save you.. I’ll rather be captured and beheaded than killing myself.... all death na death but it’s what happens after that’s important.. make person no serve him nation con go he’ll go Dey receive torment.. besides if one is captured, he’d have a little bit of time to settle with God before he’s killed.
