Typical Nigerian mentality.

Can't an accomplished politician prosper in peace again?

A man that singlehandedly built Lagos from scratch doesn't deserve to own a mansion. Now I know how backward people's reasoning are in this part of the world.

E be like say you don forget say Lagos be former capital city of Nigeria.

So if the federal capital is moved from Abuja to another city, one ‘messiah‘ will claim to have built Abuja from the scratch with his ‘money’.

Bros pity us and miss us with this kind of BS next time, biko. Thank you God bless you.

Why are Nigerian youths so obsessed with rumors, gossips and innuendoes?

You could have just post what he stole from anywhere instead of the long, pointless and meaningless essay.

Just show us what he stole from where, from who, where and how he kept the money.

It is really silly to concluded that he made his wife a 3 times senator because there are other people to vote for and the last time I checked, there always candidates from other parties on the ballot to vote for so are you saying Tinubu forced Lagosians not to vote for candidates in other parties on the ballot and made them vote for his wife?

Are you saying Tinubu put a gun to the head of millions of Lagosians and forced them to the ballot box to vote for his wife?

You people are so crazy with your beliefs that you turned the man into a mythical and magical figure in your dreams., it's unbelievable.

It is not by force to comment on the internet.

Eh, be deceiving yourself. People voted truely, in your own dreams too. Neway, me for the records, I don't see him as any mythical or asterical or whatever English you decide to put there that gives you orgasm, to me, he is just a common thief. A mere conman who this old adage," everyday for the thief, one day for the owners", applies to. Nothing more, nothing less cos we know their type, their end nigh.

Smh, wicked souls.

Ì am afraid it is you that needs to apply your grey matter and not live to defend a mere mortal like you. That is called servitude which is euphemism for slavery.
First of all, acquaint with yourself with the acronym PEP(politically exposed persons) under AML/CFT act. This is a permanent status that can not be changed in a lifetime.A two term governor, one of the leaders of the ruling political party and a husband of a serving senator is a prime example of PEP as long as he is alive.

Secondly, please bury this notion about Tinubu being wealthy from proceeds of business enterprises. It is a big fallacy. All the businesses he set up even during his term and after he left as LASG governors were proceeds of looted money from the state's treasury.

When Tinubu came back from exile after about 5 years ,he was flat broke that he printed posters for his AD primaries on credit and benevolence of some few people. He was roundly defeated by Funsho William's who had a deeper pocket and better grounded in Lagos politics. It was Pa Ayo Adebanjo who insisted Tinubu must be compensated for his sufferings with NADECO Whereby he came up with a plan to cancel some divisions primaries on flimsy excuses of unruliness and violence. That was how a new "political monster" that will bury the old guards eventually was created. Today you guys rain insults on the old man for supporting Jonathan based on principle of restructuring Niigeria which he has fought all his life and went to jail for as well. Have you ever heard Tinubu throw shades at him not to talk of insults like he always throw at Obasanjo? He knows that is the man behind his emergence as political juggernaut.

Also go through all these listed companies and business interests and tell me which one predates his becoming a governor.I will apologise to you if there is anyone established before 1999. I will also like to tell me which of these companies bar Intels(a cash cow he bought into ) and alpha beta which he is running through proxies that is profitable enough to sustain his ostentatious and larger than life lifestyle.

Please I implore you not to be an "eru aye" or an unpaid hack to a mere mortal like you who probably cares less or even oblivious of your existence.
NGpatriot:

You are free to your opinion and all the story twistings and conclusions you desire, but one thing you can not change is the fact that Tinubu is a private citizen, he's a successful businessman with successful and legitimate businesses in Nigeria's. PERIOD.

Tinubu was with Mobil before public service as the governor of Lagos state and he left public office 13 years ago so is it not insane and ridiculous to assume that the only money and source of income is his earnings from mobile before he became the governor of Lagos state?

Is he no longer the owner of newspapers, tv stations and other businesses?

Must you people talk and reason like elementary school children? Do you not have brain inside your head?

If you have proof that he stole your money, show us what he stole and from where.

Next......

Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness.

I will tell you what he stole.

He stole our properties starting with his tvc compound that was formally laspotech annex even to his house in bourdillon.

He stole our commonwealth starting from hard earn tax that he and his ravaging goons extort from us day after day from people who work so hard to make ends meet whether vio, lastma, landuse, excetera to the crazy salary or pension he gets after collecting severence pay for being an ex and let all his foot soldiers at the state assembly promulgate laws that will make such travesty legal, all na time, he will pay. We pay land use charges regularly and so early that we get 25% discount everytime. Their stupid government still send us bill for this year that is over 60% increase and like they ain't stupid enough, they even allocate penalty charges of previous years of over 250k, for a compound that has never owed LUC since they introduced it. Imagine!!! All they know is extort, extort, extort.

He destroyed Lagos heritage, by making one non chalant an oba, and those he considered his pawns, elevated them to obas too. The elegushis, eletus, the onirus, olumegbons and the likes are not obas but advanced landgrabbers who today are just extorting residents who are trying to provide shelter for themselves. Look, a well known cooperative I know purchased acres of land from a realtor at ikate side, till today, elegusi still won't allow the land to be surveyed and planned by the buyer cos they are the one in power and we must drop money which is no small amount, thanks to that thief, after all, they give him returns too, hence their impunity.

Worst part is that true lagosians are not in the scheme of things. They being sidelined. Even if we let things be, he gives so little and collects so much.

I haven't begin to scratch the surface. Let him continue

Like I say, all na time
