The clamour for restructuring has never been louder at any other time than this moment in our history. Some sectional groups which used to stand firmly against it have joined the call to remodel the political and administrative architecture of the country.https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/10/restructuring-time-for-action/amp/?__twitter_impression=true Lalasticlala 1 Like |

No 2023 election until Nigeria is restructured to devolve power to regions. At least let's see if any region can make progress. If you are against others progressing because you know that you won't make progress, the you are a WITCH. 1 Like |

The truth is that Nigeria is sick systemically. The centralised federal structure used to govern the country during the oil boom epoch by the military & bequeathed to our democracy has become a big burden which Nigeria can no longer carry.Summation of the problem. The system generates poverty rather than wealth. It produces dissonance rather than consensus. It spawns violence, corruption, inequality, nepotism and criminality. It has become unproductive, and it only benefits a very minuscule quota of the population. |

The only enemies of restructuring or disintegration are the evil beneficiaries of the skewed and failed one Nigeria contraption. However, with this nation seething to burst @ them edges, it will surely be restructured whether we like it or not. |

Nigeria is a country that was never supposed to be , and Buhari is a President that wasn't supposed to be as well , the restructuring he promised in 2015 suddenly became a threat to his govt 5 years later ....sadly one part of the country seems to be uninterested in the movement which is no surprise for a people who have chosen to continue listening to transistor radio instead of t television .... l ....I'm trying not to sound tribal but its obvious , we are fighting end SARS some are in one corner fighting SARS should continue , there's really no point being in the same bus with people who want it parked at the garage , when others have a destination ! The funny thing is that except osibanjo is briefing Buhari , the old man is totally unaware of these protests !!! 2 Likes |

If we do nothing now, the nation will continue to dysfunction. We need a new system that works for every Nigerian; a system that is acceptable to all Nigerians and once again command the loyalties of its citizens. Hmmmmm!!! 2 Likes |

For INEC to release a date for 2023 presidential election this moment of massive agitation means alot..... We need restructuring....... I read how some northern elders have been doing underground work to restructure Nigeria. But I feel, they're trying to see how they'll come up with a plan that will have to hem gain massively while other region will rather have nothing to stay with. |

leaders who have nothing to loose will accept restructuring at all fronts. Inclusive are president, vice president, senate president & the national assembly. But a natural Blackman, always thinking of is ego. Pls, where baba Obasanjo? It's a while I read his letters. Age is not on anyone's side, regardless of how much national wealth you've cornered to yourself. May we not look back & say,had I know I would've fix a lot of mess in Nigeria when given the opportunity. PMB,it's your turn to the tide,if not history will not be kind to you.remember your predecessors are groaning in severe pains right now. Not because of bullet wounds or sickness, but because they had power but used it to empower themselves the more instead of using it to correct the anomalies in N I G E R I A. |

In everything, they are the Kings of Failed Promises a. "President Muhammadu Buhari is the leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, which promised restructuring in 2015." b. "The party even set up the Governor Nasir el Rufai committee in August 2017 which came out with 12 recommendations for restructuring. The president himself appears far from being enamoured with the idea." Just in one paragraph I spotted two fake promises, these aside from several times they spoke restructuring before they got into power If you want restructuring, better carry your #Restructure placards and go and camp at another tollgate. #EndSARS Freedom Gate at Lekki is busy now. |

"Power must therefore be devolved to the regions. I propose five new regions: Sharia North; Yoruba West; Igbo East, Niger Delta; and Middle Belt. Each region must be allowed to develop in accordance with its own cultural and ethno-religious mindset. The federal centre should focus mainly on national defence, foreign policy, customs and monetary economics." - Obadiah Mailafia |
