If you are resuming January 2021, do an AR explaining what happened.
Its a genuine reason for refusal when you shun interview for no reason.
Did you ever get the calls on those days?
Did you pick up?
Were you available?
If you never got the call, a call log from your service provider (self service app) would help .
If you got the call and had no genuine reason for attending your interview kindly apply again don't any AR as it would be a waste of time.

If you can see in the refusal letter, the eco noted that I replied their email about the interview schedule. Why then would I shun the interview?

Like I mentioned, I called ukvi on the said date, infact I have a reference number for the call. I called them on both days and the lady just said to wait for their call.

You can still apply. Age shouldn't be a hindrance.

It varies from school, department and course.

Uk admission and visa application are the easiest thing to do , if you found it difficult then you probably can’t cope with the actual studying in the UK.

Is there any age requirement in admission or visa application?

If we are snobbish here your question would have been ignored

I don't think you can be discriminated against based on your age. I am older than you and am currently doing my Masters. All the best with your application.

35 is not old at all oo. Wonder why you would think such a young age is a hindrance. Some people over 40 go for masters ...... there no age limit for self development or career path change

If you want it go ahead. UK Is a straightforward process although can be hectic and here is very rich in content . Forge ahead and start the process

Several times its a glitch on IHS site and it will rectified and same application can still be used.

It could be, but I was told by UKVI to start a new application each time it happened. And same thing on other forums. I learnt the hard way because the fund was being removed from the account

UK schools don't ask for "Statement of Purpose"
The school, The High Commission NEVER.
UK uses "Personal Statement" that's my point.

Don't be so emphatic on this statement. My school for one asked for statement of Purpose. Other schools I applied to also asked the same. I did not even apply to any that asked for Personal statement.

@ThatEdoFemme Dont be afraid of your age. Applications is pretty straight forward so no fear. Truth is a lot of peeps applying here are actually older than that age and they have gotten their admissions and visa.

Response time is usually school dependent. I applied to some school towards ending of August, got response within a week from some and for others am yet to get a response. What course do you intend to study? Search out schools based on your preference; school ranking, course modules, tuition fees etc. and then apply, the beautiful thing about uk is that application is free. Some applications you can conclude in 10-15 mins if you have all your documents, others might take more than a day. Just dive in. If you have challenges or are confused at any point, ask questions here. There is most likely someone here that has applied to that school and that course that can assist.

I applied to Teesside uni and was given a conditional offer for January 2021 which I accepted and sent evidences that fulfilled the conditions and I have not heard from them since 5th October when I sent the mail. I have also sent another mail asking for updates and they have not responded. How long do I have to wait because of visa processing and all?! Secondly is this not a red flag if I can’t contact them in case of any issue that needs sorting?!
I also have an unconditional offer from uwe Bristol but because of cost and Duration of course, I think I would prefer Teesside but I’m open to suggestions and advice. Thanks

Start a new application from scratch (either on your laptop or phone), when you get to declaration page/pay IHS, sign out and follow the below steps:

1. Copy the application link sent to your email
2. Go to your phone browser and select *incognito or private browsing* from settings
3. Paste the application link and sign in as usual
4. And try and make payment as usual.
5. Hopefully this should be successful.

N.B:- not saying this is 100% guaranteed, saw it on another forum and it worked for me after filling 5 different applications and the UKVI were not helpful at all.

Is there an option to defer till Jan 2021 if that course Is available, ask your school.
If it is do the AR.
If it's not available, applying again using VAS like priority is a risk as well.

I stand by those words and chose them carefully that UK does not use the word "Statement of Purpose"

1. Considering what you have said, "study" not just read this thread properly and you would have everything at your tip to avoid misrepresentation by an agent.
2. UK doesn't have anything against age when it comes to study visas just be straight, use genuine documents.
3. Nothing to fear, relax, breathe, relax.

Good day house. Please i want to ask if it is compulsory for me as a government worker to include study leave when submitting my application or not. Though i have stated this in the CV submitted to the school that gave me admission. I don't want to complicate any issue at all. Please your advise will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

It takes like 2 to 3weeks I guess.
Got my conditional admission then had to fulfil the condition.
There's 50% scholarship, I applied but was able to get 5000 pounds discount.
I guess I didn't meet up for the 50%

Calm down, feel free to go ahead and ask your questions, but the angle you came with is strange - age has nothing to do with it, people who are older than you have gotten both admission and visas, and if it had, what help would a school rep render in that regard, forge you a birth certificate?
