Any known or common issues with redmi note 8. Some people were talking about poor battery n I saw some comment too. Is it a good device to go for
go for it, I've been using it for about 10 months and I've not seen any problem, concerning the battery it all depends on how you use it

Nah
Personally I think the battery is great
The only issue I think it has is screen retention issues
When you use an app for very long time and switch to another app or home screen you can still see the layout and colours of that app you just switched from although very very faintly, but it goes away after a few minutes.

To me this isn't a problem because it doesn't affect performance in anyway and it's not obvious or opaque enough to be distracting

Moreso I saw briefly on a YouTube channel talking about how MIUI12 will fix that (didn't view the video and I don't know if it's true but I hope it is sha fingers crossed)

But even with that flaw it's a great device
The screen resolution is great
The cameras are great in good lighting conditions
And the processor is quite powerful as well
I don't experience the identified problem on my own unit though. Over 10 months now too.

Maybe not all have it or maybe you haven't been paying attention to it

Do you play Call of Duty Mobile?

It happens when I play CODM and I can play for hours as long as my battery will last
It also happens when I use Pinterest (another app which I can keep using for hours)

Don't mind my post here.
Is dere any difference in using multiple cameras?
Because I see no difference in the pics I took while switching on AI cam and also when I switch it off.
I guess the other cam are for fashion

to know the difference between AI and other camera do this

write a text. or find a book, snap any page

observe the difference!!

AI icon automatically changes to txt and snaps better.

do the experiment and show me your research

You may also want to consider a used flagship if the processor is as important to you as you suggest

It all comes down to what you use the storage for. Most of my movies, series etc are on an external drive. Games and photos hold the most space on my storage.

That said, I think 64GB (with an expansion slot) should be the base storage option considered going into the next year and 128GB ideal.

Exactly my thoughts, I wanted to ask too.
I am a COD illiterate o lol smiley . I don't play games on my phones - too lazy to go study how to play. I don't use Pinterest too.
Maybe that's why I've not experienced what you mentioned.
