Meanwhile guys, Bolt decided to unblock me yesterday night after about 5 months of block.im still shaking off malaria though. Thanks to those who wished me quick recovery.

For now, if no surge I no dey turn on their app. Also, with this protest, I m ok with their 2 trip destinations per day. Na 2 trips be that. If you know, you know. grin
Pope191 aw far about urs?
BAZ001:

Maybe Uber/bolt can down tool after this protest for a better treatment since majority of drivers can’t work cos of protest and won’t die. meaning if all drivers put off their apps let’s say Monday morning 5am - 12 noon for three days their voices will be heard too.
But werey Dey disguise all this hp guys will snitch.

Shortly after posting this, a bolt driver pulled over by my side without even stopping him. He asked me if it was battery problem. He immediately parked and brought his battery for me to use. I was really amazed. I barely picked his name as he drove off immediately my car started. This is good, guys. I ve vowed to stop and help any driver I see on the road henceforth. This is the Nigeria we yearn for. We mooveee.

They are many good drivers out there, sometimes bolt/Uber do ask me if I need help, when they notice that you are in distress

I won't forget an Uber driver back in November 2018, my car had an issue at night at dolphin estate, he stopped and asked me what was the problem, I explained to him. He showed me where to park(he stays in dolphin) and drove me from dolphin to illaje bus/stop this was around 10/11pm.

If a fellow driver request me, I will be there to offer any help that I can

Let's endeavoue to try and follow the protest on Twitter as much as we can so we dont end up spending our day in the traffic, unless we intend to go and protest. Many of these road blocked have been mentioned since yesterday on twitter to be blocked today. Eko bridge has also been noted ever since it eas announced to be open.

Nice.

Everyone should also endeavor to participate in the protest.
One or two days is enough contribution, if you can't come out everyday.

NaijaCr7:

If you are on bolt ...go to your drivers portal and screen grab the page and upload....

For Uber....screen grab your app home page....

If not on either app (bolt and Uber) visit the nearest police station for an attestation letter

Guys aren’t referring to you.
It was the other that insisted on knowing one before helping.
The driver was wrong to have tricked you.

Go to LASDRI at Oshodi, collect driver certification verification for 1k

Then take the verification slip and your car road worthiness to Code of conduct at the Old secetariat, Ikeja. Go there with cash of 11k, yeah you read this right, 11 fvcking k.

The 11k is for Driver's badge and Vehicle tag (all routes).

Boss forget d matter, if I am the one, I'll tell em to b mindful of where he park his car for pulling such stunt on me, cos rematch go day, just like I've save a girl number that torment me today. Jeje I park at ikeja, thinking about me life and the plenty wahala for naija, dats how this girl susan request me and up next she start telling me where to meet her and so on... me thinking of the surge and if I should take my chances, I ask her, where r u going? The stupid girl mock me and ask me to go home, no work for u today, uber no won join protest abi. For some minute, I was dumbfound, had to cancel after 3hrs, but saved her number for future purpose.

Mind! I have helped someone before, as in over help self. He was going to lekki, when his car stopped ard 1004, he requested , and explain that he ran out of gas and it's getting close to 10pm, regardless of the lock down... I drove him to mobile, and still pay 1k for d gas, since he doesn't have cash. I still part with 2k for him to settle d boiz ard dia and all I did was just to drop my account number for him to send my money and leave as I have to get off road too, d man only send my 3k and it's fine by me.
