olumide4christ: Your thinking is really myopic and pathetic. Have you calmed down and really ask yourself WHY protesters would all of a sudden decide out of the blue to burn down 3 whole banks. Totally unrelated to the protest. Even though they want to vandalize, would they conceive to go such dangerous extent?. Have you the slightest idea the amount of guts it takes for an individual to carry out this task. Psychologically the person has to be very deranged and must have serious backing. A normal protester wouldn't even dare. Now what's your proof that this doesn't fit the description of hired thugs. 1 Like 1 Share |

They shall kill us and we shall kill them and in the end, we shall win. Let the killings continue, because in the end, a cow is more dignified than a Nigerian. |

AnanseK: Obviously, they are jubilating and celebrating the tragedy. We yorubas need to think and stop vandalising properties during protest, then after the protest we can descend on the flat-headed Igbos and send them back to the east! 1 Like |

IDesignLOGO: So looting is now the new “revolution”? The Agbero culture has so eaten deep into the fabric of Nigerian life that even things that start off nobly is pretty soon subsumed by the lowest common denominator in society. That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised when the likes of MC Oluomo become state governors, if not president. Unfortunately, the one thing that these “revolutionary” looters are going to discover pretty soon is that Nigeria’s so-called ‘leaders’ come from Nigerian society and are reflective of pretty much the same thuggish culture, which is why the population produces ‘leaders’ who are willing to kill, not only to preserve their privileges but to get into positions of authority in the first instance. Ultimately, the only substantive difference between SARS and these so-called “revolutionary” looters is a badge and uniform. That’s why lynching, necklacing, burning alive, and other forms of jungle justice remain prevalent in our society. Heck, even seen a video of SARS personnel apprehending armed robbery suspects, and people in the crowd were shouting “waste them, waste them!” Anyway, it’s all well and good to sit behind one’s computer and blather on about “revolution”, but unfortunately it’s the innocents who will suffer the most - not the Agbero ‘leaders’ or the Agbero looters and hoodlums. #ENDSARS 1 Like |

IduNaOba:the difference is yorubas are fighting and it is going to end positively unlike the yam legged ipob regions that have been dying in millions since the 60's and ended up achieving nothing while their cowardice leaders(ojukwu and kanu) ran away leaving behing the ever gullible yammiris to die like cchritmas chickens. |

Kobicove: I'm surprised at how naive Nigerians can be. Didn't you see unmarked brand new land cruisers with men in suit ferrying paid thugs.to different parts of Abuja to burn and destroy cars and attack unarmed protesters? Didn't you see this same attempt in Lagos few days ago at Alausa and some of them were caught and they mentioned the name of a certain Mile 12 fulani market association leader as the person who mobilised them? Doesn't it look too curious to you that the protest which was completely peaceful and orderly all over the country for almost 2 weeks, should all of a sudden in one evening in Jos, Lapai in Niger State, Kano, Benin, and Abuja would be simultaneously disrupted by paid thugs? There was no protesters at any of those banks. Fulani okada riders and scrap metal collectors, and mai-guards who all reside in the Lekki and Victoria island area were mobilised in a well coordinated attack to burn those magnificent bank buildings to create the impression that the protest has turned violent. This is to justify government determination to forcefully put down the protest. Please grow some sense. |
