please how can i download and update it manually without recovery?

Join the telegram group if you can or just copy the link from the picture to download.

Once you are done, go to your normal updater app in settings - about phone. Tap on the miui logo 10 times. The click on option, select choose update package. Then locate the rom u downloaded n select it.

Note this is for EEA/Europe version oh! That is QFGEUXM. Check your miui version on the about section in settings. If it is different then this is not for you.

For who it may concern. MIUI 12 is live on redmi note 7 EEA version. It hasn't been pushed to the normal system updater app in settings though. But it was shared on the official miui updates telegram group.

Anyone here remember that radio app or link that has virtually all radio stations. It was dropped on the Xiaomi thread once

Well, ignorance continues to ruin us all in one way or the other so I guess that statement is technically correct

Anyway, you made an ill-informed comparison between miui and ios so I responded to that. Had you made the comparison between miui and one ui, you probably would have gotten a different response

It's okay to shift the goalpost though. We all do it
cool

We need more posts with maturity like yours here, and less of childish tantrums and unnecessary fights like kindergarten children.

God bless you for maintaining the peace.

Hello good afternoon to you all
I have a little problem I think might need u guys help.
A friend of mine wanted to get a phone around 40-43k, specifically said he will get an infinix device, but having had a bad experience with these transsion phones tecno especially, I don't want him to even near anything infinity, and still trying to persuade him to get a xiaomi at least.
I use realme, and I cant find a cheap realme device for him on jumia, thats why I'm considering the redmi 9a or 9c for him.
Please how is the real life performance of these devices? Saw a complain on the battery performance of the redmi 9a on one thread and I'm skeptical...I just need the opinions of those who have used the redmi 9a

Have you bought it? If you have not, pay attention to my candid advice.

As regards the battery performance of the 9A, I must confess that it is not impressive for a 5000mah capacity. I am currently using the device so I know what I am talking about.

Many people are also complaining just like you said. A guy complained about it on another thread, he told me that his friend's Tecno spark4 with 4000mah lasts longer than his 9A. I have used hot5 before and the battery performance beats this 9A hands down even though it had just 4000mah battery.

Apart from the poor battery performance, the device is ok except for some little MIUI bugs like incorrect RAM and Storage space reportage and an inconsistent/error filled battery usage stats reportage which I have learnt to overlook.

You guys run this Xiaomi group like a cult. The way you defend them as if your lifes depends on it. You attack anyone that speaks ill of Xiaomi regardless of whether the person is saying the truth or not as if their products are perfect.

I am beginning to suspect that you guys are paid for this shît, because i don't understand why a reasonable fellow will be defending a product aggressively when s/he has nothing to gain.

Infinix do me strong thing.

Wetin dem do you because I am planning to ditch this stupid 9A with its terrible battery performance and go back to infinix.

I have used two of their devices before (hot1 and hot5) and I never had any problems with them. I have given both out and they still function well.

Infact when I needed a backup device because I now use Samsung, I wanted to get hot8 but I felt I should try Xiaomi due to the way Nairaland boys hype them. I settled down for 9A due to the large 5000mah battery and relatively cheap price but the battery has not impressed me so far.

Guys please help, I can't find my "Mi Video" app in my phone anymore. It just disappeared, I can't say exactly when but the last thing I did few days ago was updating my MIUI to 11.0 5, I haven't played any video since then but last night I tried to watch a movie and Mi Video was gone, I tried again this morning but same thing. I tried to download another one but while installing it gave me a prompt like "do you want to install an update to a built-in system app" I clicked OK and it installed, yet I can't find it in my phone.
I went to settings > app > manage app still I can't find it. I went to file manager and searched for "Mi Video" search came back empty. However, I saw a folder named Mi Video in my file manager but nothing is inside except txt files.
Please help.
