For those asking why soilders are deployed to protest grounds, well here's your answer.

The police just can't handle these violent protesters who use this opportunity to perpetuate criminal acts.

If soilders appear and start target practicing, we'll call it a massacre abi?

You are a complete fool, they didn't send them to shoot at Surulere or Orile, they didn't send them to Edo to chase after prisoners and shoot them, they sent them to Lekki tollgate where the people were sitting on the road, waving the flag and singing the national anthem.

They did not fight anybody yet they shot them to protect their Master's interests.

Wicked Nigerian Police.Shameless and conscienceless IGP should have resigned longtime back for being incompetent! Was he not monitoring and receiving feedback on SARS? What did he do about the reports? Did it have to come to this before taking steps? He should carry the can!

Yes. It is massacre. Which could have been avoided if sars was ended amd swat not formed

U cannot insult us by forming a new unit immediately. People will think, and rightly so, that it is the old being given a new name

Why mot just end sars, and after 2 to 3 years, following national consultation, we can decide if we want another agency

They should stand there and watch while Police kills them one by one? Police should stop shooting first

True they are trained for war. However, we the protesters don't respect the police. In protest grounds we've chased many of them away and outrightly threatened some.

Plus the protest was getting violent anyway thanks to the touts taking over.

The best solution would have been to retreat and give government a little time to implement the demands but if they don't, WE MOVE !
you can not blame inefficiency of leaders on the people, the political leaders are there to manage the country, not just eat money, if they can not control the situation and manage properly they should resign.

Alhamdulillah there will not be destructions in my beloved Arewa. How come all those Igbos hate are the targets? Tinubu (from nowhere), Sanwolu (for defeating PDP), Buhari, Oba of Lagos.... hahahaha I hereby declare Yorubas the dumbest ethnic group in Africa

No SARS!

No SWAT

Now they are burning down all police stations, these guys don't want any form of policing or checks at all, so that they can carry out their plans with ease.
