But why are the EndSARS protesters reluctant to suspend the protest. Do they think that if they stop protesting they will not be able to gather again to protest?

The president has already said he acknowledge the fact that protest is the right of the citizens, in other words the citizens can protest. He is simply asking them to stop protesting so that order can be restored in the land.

The most important thing right now is for order to be restored to the southern states. The anarchy we are experiencing is making lives difficult for the common man. Whatever protest can be done after things settle down.

It's funny u are quoting what buhari said. U think buhari believes what he said? Don't give d guy credit more than he is due. FYI, a SARS reform report was submitted to buhari in June 2019. D recommendations of d report are very similar to d demands of d protesters. Buhari has refused to implement that report. If he did, I don't think people will be out on d streets. D question is y didn't buhari implement d report? So pls don't blame protesters 4d chaos, anarchy and difficulty presently being experienced. D president failed in his responsibility.

By d way, d protests were peaceful until d govt started orchestrating thugs to attack protesters in order to disrupt d protests

Let him come and say it with his mouth!

For goodness sake, what does it take for a president to address the people? Not like he's in a sick bed oo. I'm beginning to think what Kanu said about that man not being Buhari is true.

It is time Nigerian youths started arming themselves. Current youths will win the war against army because they are fighting for justice while army are fighting for the greed of politicians.
