Just trying to play a divergence as price approaches a daily resistance level. Just place stops enough to give some room and accommodate spreads. And of course proper MM if price doesn't agree with the plan. There would always be that other setup to recover please.

It depends on what TF you are viewing from. A buy on D1 could be a sell on H4 and/or a buy on H1, it all depends on how much you are willing to get from the market per trade - this determines which TF you prefer to view trade from.

As for me, I swing-trade only on D1 with plain charts (just candles) - no direction indicator, naked charts. Do you see that very recent high formed, it tells me the upswing is terminated, confirmed by a full bearish candle, no matter what the currently forming candle is doing (bullish currently), I jump into a short here. and placed my stop close to the high.

Please don't be too confident with any setup, the next setup might be the one to fail. It's a human doing these analysis and there should always be room for error.
