Good morning fam

Please I need a comparison between 08-10 Toyota Highlander and 04-06 Lexus gx470.

In terms of:

Reliability and durability

Cost of maintenance

Resale value

I know they’re v6 and v8 respectively, is the fuel consumption of the gx470 significantly different from the v6 highlander?

The Lexus is my first choice but I’m a bit concerned cos of the v8 engine. Never used one before and I enter traffic a lot. I have no issues with the v6 consumption

Thanks guys

@gazzuz
GX470 do not consume much fuel as erroneously thought by lots of folks. It's a better built truck, parts are available and command similar price as the 08/10 highlander.

Though, due to the age range of the units you're looking at, and neatness, the resale value may be around 2-3.5m compared to highlander's 3-4m resale value.

Thanks.

Does the gx handle better than the highlander? Is the interior more luxurious?

It's a proper offroad truck, while it's more luxurious and better built than the highlander, it can't ride as composed as the highlander. Though, you'd be fine driving it. It's actually better suited for Nigerian terrain.

Send me the VIN so I can decode for you and check it's history.
How much are they selling to you?

Please I'm trying to pick between Lexus es330 2004/2005 and honda accord 2009/2010.

Which one do you think is better in terms of durability, luxury, ground clearance, fuel consumption, and overall maintenance?

Thanks

Hmmm.
Why not look at an Acura TSX? If you're getting an ES330, get a 2005/2006.

Those two I mentioned are my preferred choice at the moment. Maybe the Acura TL 2009/2010 design but it is more than the budget.

honda accord 2009 is newer and better.

People prefer es330 because of lexus badge.

Hello house,I've decided to go for a 2006 Honda Pilot. I'm aware it will consume more due to the 3.5L engine and that's not a problem. Experts in the house kindly drop reviews on this SUV. I'll also appreciate advice from first hand owner of this ride. Thanks.

Since you have decided to go for this, what would you be needing reviews for?
I thought it was reviews first then purchase?
Or is it purchase first then reviews?
