Conscience is an open wound, until truth can heal it.

I am beginning to believe that the use of soldiers instead of riot policemen to disperse protesters who were disobeying lawful curfew at Lekki Tollgate may be wrong but the impression that masaccre and genocide happened was a big lie. There is no way trained soldiers would have shot directly at scampering protesters without the Lekki Tollgate being littered with corpses. Yes, the soldiers used maximum force but they obviously shot to scare and disperse and not to masaccre as emotional social media hype conveyed.

Truth will set you free and it doesn't matter if you are rightly an angry youth. I haven't seen any evidence that somebody died at the Tollgate the night of 20.10.20 to warrant the hype of massacre or genocide.

29.10.20 was neither a massacre nor a genocide but an unnecessary use of military rather than riot police to disperse resolute protesters.
How I wished you were among those that were killed to make the death toll 8, may be it would reach a good number of massacre. Somebody thinking with foot. Even the killing of a single harmless soul is a massacre. Ode.

Another shameful comment. Sanwo-Olu himself during this interview said soldiers were not meant to be at the toll gate until 10pm. He said the curfew was extended until 9pm and the protesters were still within their rights to gather.

Go and watch the report on BBC news. Soldiers allegedly took away the dead bodies of victims and Sawo-Olu himself as confirmed the use of live ammunitions and the death of at least one person.

The point is just to drop that bit of info into the subconscious of the gullible,

Buhari an Hausa man sent Soldiers to kill Yorubas in Lagos. Yoruba people got angry and started destroying Lagos and killing their fellow Yorubas. Meanwhile Hausa properties both in Lagos and elsewhere are safe. Ibos now mobilized other Yorubas to burn Oba of Lagos Palace. What a shame.
In the end, Yorubas and have suffered a triple loss. Meanwhile Buhari who ignited this fire in Lagos is somewhere laughing. He has refused to even make a statement because his interior motives of bringing down the south is coming to pass. Very sad that Yorubas can set fire to 300 BRT buses the own yet are afraid to touch one of the thousands of Dangote trucks that cripple Apapa with go slow.
A problem that started in Ughelli, that should have been fought majorly in Abuja, has resulted to the destruction of Lagos by Lagosians.
So be it!

When we tell you guys that our unitary federalism is and will never work, una think sey we dey lie.

See guys, state governors are ceremonial in nature here. They dont have control over the major stuff that drive a state. Those things are in federal govt. This is why any one who truly loves Nigeria and doesnt want a total problem arising from citizens who are left and abandoned, the person should plead with Abuja to work on our constitution to reflect reality.

States/regions should control their resources and pay part to central govt for maintaining external relations, military among few others.

security should be granted to the states/regions.
electricity too and among others! These are the real factors that drive an economy. Our governors are ceremonial in nature. They dont have real powers. If they are not at peace with Abuja, Abuja can mess them up.

the army came to do a raid. but the Lagos government help them off the light and remove the cameras. the old Nigeria metallity. they are forgetting that things have changed. this is 21st century. they need to stop the use of force. that's oppression and suppression.

.

Succinctly put!! Even I would kill enough with a gun, let alone trained military men.

Have people died for this cause? Yes

Did they die at Lekki tollgate? Maybe

Were they killed directly by soldiers shooting? Most likely no. They scampered, there must have been stampede, injuries- but don’t fucking tell me soldiers shot at you DIRECTLY and you still knew were your iPhone was to do IG Live.

Obviously, Sanwo Olu has a hand in the killing of the protesters at Lekki on the 10th of October, 2020. He said the laser camera (not the cctv) and light was put off because of curfew. The question now is, why did he remove camera (what ever camera) in the first place? My second question is if there was no ulterior motive, why did they had to put of the light during curfew. He also claimed that there was no death recorded and we got the information that about 70 people died and some corpse were taken by the military men that night to cover up their act. Don't you think Sanwo Olu is also one of the murderers?
