I even expect trump to be talking more about carbon capture storage as a way to handle carbon emissions even if he insists on dieing in fracking and oil exploration/production. I expect him to discuss about ways to reduce carbon emissions. But the guy has come out to throw down the scientific researches and findings on climate change..

A human with zilch knowledge about science disputing scientific findings that we see the evidence day in day out..

What evidence have you seen about climate change apart from 99% of scientists funded research.

There is a reason you don't see nuclear reactors in cars and planes. You only see them in ships and submarines. Each devices has a kind of energy that can power it. Cars batteries can power it... But your jumbo jets are too big and needs enormous power draw to even get of the ground. For that use case... Battery will dies before tou say hiphip. Same with cruise ships.

The same people who had Hillary up.

On its final poll released Nov. 7, the

popular vote by 1 percentage point,
even though Donald Trump beat her
on electoral votes.
No other pollster tracked by

Increased heat. Floodings. Global warming. Etc.Plenty of evidence.

Climate change evidence of it being real.
Sahara, Atacama deserts et al were caused by burning fossil fuels
When you bring an argument that 99% of scientists in peer reviewed papers have said so. It's called a strawman argument.

China is the world's leader right now in renewable energy, link below

The US is second to china in renewable energy, they have double the energy America produces in renewable energy, so if America wants to be great they need to beat china, and china is moving at such a ridiculous speed that if America ignores China for another 4 years, they might never meet up.

Also... With the laws of thermodynamics... Each time you charge your battery you lose mileage so at a point you will need to replace those batteries. Again emissions problem persists but reduced too

You have to put into consideration a charge covers over 200 miles. The average life of battery is 8 years also. Comparing to fossil and relating it with carbon emissions in same average time lies the advantages to the environment

Before the first milliliter of oil was ever used, there were no floods, no hot summer heat waves, gazillions of polar bears, no buried islands etc
Don't conflate smog with climate change.

Sorry dude, this is not wishful thinking.
We are dealing with realty, until there is something like a global accord for finding alternative energy source, you won't place your country at a disadvantage all in the name of virtue signaling.

I don't know about the Russians of recent but we all know what length China can go to, to attain world power.

Until there is a global discussion about cutting carbon emissions to Zero, no nuclear power can be trusted to switch to wind turbines and solar energy or even nuclear energy.

Mind you, you will need manufacturing plants to build the infrastructures for the new energy sources so you will still need fossil fuel to get there.

No one said they are cutting fossil fuel

it's a transition, that can take the next 30 years, but the earlier the better.
