Although the batteries are cooled by air but we have different climates. At the end of the day that 8 years is best case scenario. You might be looking at most 6years.

Why not just use fossil fuels to charge electric vehicles in order to please activists. Oil engines have typical efficiencies of less than 55%. Burn 100MW of fuel to produce max 55MW to power electric vehicles with less than 60% efficiency.
