He deals on geo domain and has proved that there is value in geo domains with his sales reports. He said he backorders names he likes with dropcatch and I believe that's what most of his readers are now doing. This days geo domain goes into public action on dropcatch

So this is why a lot of people have been dropcatching geo names recently, i pity them, it's not a good strategy and doesn't make sense. Why dropcatch a geo name for $59 that is not sure of selling. Dropcatch 10 names for $599 then sell 2 out of the 10 at $300 each. Does it make sense?

Keep records of all sales reports especially Geo domains, cause you must always run back to it.

this is my fear also and most times this domain may not end up selling or may even flip for low $$

Selling depends on how much you wanna sell shaa.. Some domainers don't wait for 1000% profits.. They sell even with 100% profit rollover and continue same trick.

Because even at that backordered fee, some end users may still not be interested.

So it's not all about the profit margin...

I tell you, imagine you got 20 domains backordered for $59 ie $1180 and you have a 25% STR at average of $250 ie 5 domains sold for $1250 and this is quite normal. That means a $70 profit.

Having a good geo domain is good but having to convince an End user to buy a domain for above $250 is not very easy. Some would even have to reduce the price drastically after several follow up.

some time it's always about the value of your domain to the end user and/or you tenacity to hold onto it which could be risky for Geo domains.

Geo domains and Brandables are mostly Grace. That's why they're mostly the names Droping daily. The only way a Generic, Emds can drop is if the owner forget or die. I can't hold Geo for that long
