Hi guys i need your advise, i was using my HP laptop after some time the battery was down , but i couldnt charge it cos there was no power. The light came i tried to charging it the yellow tiny light were the power cord was inserted was on but nothing was showing on the screen. I switch it off and power it on yet nothing was still displaying on the screen. After sometime i notice that the yellow light that pops when charging the laptop is no longer showing again by it side what can i do to power my laptop please advise.

Pull out the battery and leave it out for a while before slotting it back again and try charging it.

Meanwhile is it an AMD or Celeron processor laptop? If yes then your logic board might have gone bad

Ha what model is this? Take a snap shot and share here pls. You have to some how open up the laptop and do this.

Ha my fears confirmed... For the context I have 2 dead AMD laptops with similar symptoms. It appears that because you were working on battery power, the processor fan was not working on optimal power leading to overheating which leads to the processor connectors on the board loosen or processor damaged.

You need to get a laptop repairer to help fire the board carefully to get the connectors in place. Before then though, try another power pack though I doubt it would make a difference.

If nothing was displaying on the screen, did the laptop power on?

If it is not powering on and the light is not showing, I'll advise you use another charger first, if problem persist see a laptop technician.
