Bolowolowo: Did you watched the world cup? If yes you'll know that Iran is a very solid team. They play good football. They will beat most African teams even Nigeria . |

Tolulopefinest: Based on recent performances? They got knocked of the AFC cup in the semifinals and only won against lowly ranked sides. Given that fifa calculation takes strength of opposition into account, I'm still failing to see how they rose that high(even higher than Algeria that managed to defeat highly ranked Colombia after their AFCON win). |

Tolulopefinest: They don't necessarily play good football. They are just difficult to beat |

Interviewer tried to get ahead of himself telling Iheanacho he couldn't ask for more than a 2 assist one goal night but the response was epic https://mobile.twitter.com/LCFC/status/1319633213799673864 1 Like |

Why can't Rodgers just praise KC like he does the other players. Which one is he misplaced a couple passes? Man had 6 chances created ffs. Q: What were your thoughts on Kelechi Iheanacho’s performance? BR: “He gives everything, Kelechi. He’s a great player for our squad. You see when he comes into the game, he gives his all. He could have been a bit more precise with one or two passes; the one where James got in, he could have played it a little earlier, but he has the extra touch. And there were a couple of other moments. "But he doesn’t get disappointed. He keeps going, and his finish was fantastic. He’s under pressure, spins out of it and shoots off his right foot. He gave everything to the game and deserved his goal.” 1 Like

I think someone in the homeoffice is the one telling Southgate to cal these English/nigerian boys so that we don't have them. SAF used to do it in the past. It's just sad if Lookman waste his international career like Abraham, tomori and Saka (to certain extent) |

12large1: As far as am concern we will always be having those players that are not good for England first so I wont be suprise if they chose England ahead of us ...the thing is there are bunch of talents in Nigeria but the thing is they are not ambitious most of those prodigy, whizkid in U-17,U-20 where are they now most of them are not playing football for the passion but rather for the money only a few are playing for the passions the Likes of Ndidi, osihmen, chuks et al imagine the best player in the U-17 tournaments is plying trade in Huesca and not even a starter I had huge expectations on him same goes to dele too a golden glove winner that can't even claim a shirt in ventspils...am losing hope already on the local players it high time we start looking at the ways of this foreign pros and give them a lot of spot in our team coz they are the future of the SE...there are many Nigeria descent players who are scattered all over British academy the likes of carnley, shoretire et al who are highly rated and am 99% sure they will end up with England but if we cap these players when they're young with our age grade team then we might stood a chance with them thats why I will prefer Emenalo to be our technical directors coz he gat eyes for talents. 1 Like 1 Share |
