We needed Greenwood more than we needed Matic. Greenwood created a goal scoring chance for Cavani and kept Chilwell honest for the rest of the game. In addition he is a goal threat.

There were 3 pairs of fresh Chelshit legs to initiate their counters still.

For me good game this was. I was scared for our back line but they handled themselves well. So much for the Werner pace talk and Havertz creativity. We weren't really troubled, can't remember DDG making any fantastic save. We should have had a couple of goals but we move.

James played really poorly, Mata didn't do that badly but I think even the formation was not good enough.
same set up like against PSG with Mason starting in Martial's place should have had us on the front foot from the off.

I don't know why he was pissed. The guy seems to have a ridiculously high opinion of himself. While De Gea is performing well he is no1.
