If you are the coach, you go play Ighalo ba? when you have Rashford, Martial, Cavani and Greenwood as options?
Heck, if not for Nacho that was in the wilderness clubwise, I prefer Nacho to Ighalo during those periods

Meanwhile, una see Fulham??

TheGoodJoe, how far? Is Scott Parker still a genius.?

I still rate Parker a genius because of the transformation he did with Fulham and turned them to one of the best passing sides in Europe.

Unfortunately, I think there is a change in defensive patterns that is making it difficult for lots of passing sides, not just Fulham.

With Guardiola also facing similar challenges, will you say he is not a genius?

Oh please.. improving a team's passing accuracy isn't a criteria for rating a genius... Fulham might have looked good in the championship, but the EPL is a different level entirely..He has to up his game.. If they don't improve soon,he might be sacked..

PS: there's no correlation between Pep and Parker.. Parker is a greenhorn,Pep is a pro..
I remember a comment you made sometimes ago that u can't judge a plaher as being world class until he has played at least 10 years consistently, so I wonder why u threw the genius tag on a coach who just started out last year undecided

I did not call Parker a Legend or World Class. I called him a genius.

It takes genius and hard work to turn an average side to one of the best passing sides in Europe.

It is a huge criteria when you consider the amount of sound managers in the game.

One of the best passing side in Europe?
Really bro?
A team that was playing in the second division??
When did second division teams start competing with top flight teams when it comes to stats measurements??

Ok,Fulham are now at the top level and are struggling, does that mean their exploits in the championship was a fluke??

As I said before, there is an improvement in defence strategy against passing sides. Even Manchester City is affected. That does not nullify the past brilliant work.

Finito.

Didn't seem to affect Leeds, Fulham is poor and Pep is struggling no amount of passing can change that

I think it has to do with the press strategy.

If you watched the contrast in play between the two halves of City, you will notice we adopted a more intense press and unsettled West Ham.

I think that pressing with higher intensity than most has aided Leeds to cope despite troubles from how sides defend against passing sides.

Don't still get why Liverpool are also not looking as efficient as they could be despite the intense press pattern.

Fulham is not a top side with respect to player quality. However, I expected their playing style to give them an edge.

But, we have seen teams adopt more meticulous approach in their defending and causing passing sides trouble.

So Fulham is hard hit.
