To me, it looked like Fred at the base, Pogba and Mctominay in the middle, Rashford LM and Fernandes RM, then Cavani up top. Of course, formations are usually flexible so the shape is bound to change most times.

Thanks for confirming it. I think Ole put Fernandes and Rashford on both wings so they could feed Cavani with good crosses, but they didn't do it well enough.

James has not grabbed his opportunity, he shouldn't be starting again.

Ole should pair Cavani and Rashford upfront so they play off each other. I'm not sure I want to see Rashy on the wings. A 3 man defense with AWB and Telles on the WB.

To be fair, Ole has started making some tough decisions. He is dropping some major underperforming players and switching up play in game. Doesn't sit all through again. E be like dem don seize him iPad

Ole has to find a way to better utilize VDB and Telles especially VDB...

VDB can easily play the Bruno role whilst Bruno play from deep alongside any of McTominay, Fred or Matic...The idea of playing both Fred and McTominay should only be entertained when we are against Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern or the likes and not Chelsea who are struggling to get things going. You can even argue that Bruno has the work rate to do a Fred whilst still contributing to our attack, it is a necessary move especially when you have Shaw at LB and Wan-Bissaka as RB.

Yesterday, for most part we only had too genuine attackers on the pitch in Rashford and Bruno. James was useless whilst Shaw has a dead football brain, at some point he was being begged to overlap but the burger King wasn't having none of it, he just choose to sit back.

Wan-Bissaka was very good defensively but going forward he was poor. You'd think the idea of playing a double pivot of Fred and McTominay was to provide cover for our fullbacks but of what essence is it when the both are very conservative fullbacks?

Lastly, Bruno or whoever is Taking our corner kicks should targeting the head of Maguire for a header back across the 6 yards as it hasn't worked and doesn't look like it will ever work. I expected us to put in crosses I to the box with Cavani on the pitch but we were still playing like it was Martial that was the CF.

Guy forget o! I watch almost all of Liverpool games and Klopp some how manages to give all of them quality game time...Even Milner gets games too.
