Former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu has denied involvement in Lekki toll gate shootings.

Mr Tinubu washes his hands off the allegations while speaking with journalists during a courtesy visit to the residence of the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

It will be recall that armed men in military uniform on the night of 20 October 2020, attack Nigerians protesting against police brutality in the country, in which many were reported dead.

In a report on 21 October, Amnesty International stated that at least 12 protesters were killed in what the organisation described as “extrajudicial executions”.

However, the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), argued that the victims of Lekki shootings have some questions to answer as regarding the incident.

“Those who are several casualties during the gunshots needs to answer some questions too.

“How are they there? How long were they there? What kind of characters are they?,” the APC chieftain who recently restated that he is still the Jagaban, said.

“Even though, we want to help, we need to extract some informations that will help the government to prepare a further,” he added.
