Hmm! Take heart madam. I knew people would soon begin speaking up and declaring their people missing after all efforts to locate them proved abortive. Some useless youths in support of the wicked acts and solidarity with Tinubu, head of criminals have been spewing thrash after the unfortunate incident, daring people to post names. Your days of reckoning is near. Believe the nigerian army at the detriment of your life, those who have captured and killed shekau 5 times but the latter keeps refuting their claims, waxing strong. Same had claimed they didn't kill the police who arrested wadume the terrorists but kept mute after one of the police men who survived the gunshot injuries managed to go to force headquarters to tell what really happened with video evidence. The military shot them fatally and left, thinking the officers had all died. Only in Nigeria would people play politics with human lives.

Madam, we sympathise with you but you should have taught your son what curfew means. It means the security situation is beyond control so everyone should go home.
This was all worked out by the state gov't and the army. Army attack, state gov't condemns, army denies. There was no massacre but I know if 2 or 3 persons don't go down, that crowd will not disperse. Protesters have been on the streets for over 10 days but when police stations started burning and police being killed coupled with other security breakdown, the gov't had to act. Generally, this is the effect of voting bad leaders, so in the next elections our youths should not be used to rig these leaders into office again. The incompetence of Buhari is nationwide, the North are even suffering more. Now we have seen the incompetence of Sanwo Olu and the greed of Tinubu.

I doubt if you followed the story. The protesters did nothing wrong. They didn't bear arms. They were peaceful. The curfew was scheduled to start earlier but the government shifted it to 9pm. If you heard the interviews of the protesters on TV and social media, they said their plan was to leave before 9pm as declared...for me, they broke no rules for being there almost 3 hours earlier to wrap up their protest. The military came barely 3 hours ahead and shot at them after the street light was turned off. Thanks to the foreign journalists who exposed this carnage to the outside world. Our politicians would have succeeded in covering it all up...even though they still tried to, by paying some people to do damage control on social media. Sanwoolu first said nobody was killed, which was the highest level of irresponsibility on the part of someone who called himself a leader of a state, making people suspect his culpability before he now admitted people died after the whole world had seen the gory video on CNN, BBC and Aljazeera because their reporters were always there covering events from day one, up till when the military struck. It's even only on these foreign channels I was seeing the details of the protest since endsars started with channels tv covering a little...I guess the local media were afraid of sanctions for not showing us those details as seen on foreign news media.

The curfew was for 4pm not 9pm. It was extended for those stuck in traffic to get home. You are entitled to your opinion, while we condemn acts of impunity by our leaders we must not destroy our country.

Emilokoiyawon
These listed handlers are the ones I've noticed spreading hatred and bigotry on nairaland. The bitter part of the matter is they pretend to be yorubas. Everywhere is burning in Nigeria but they choose to blame some people.
They were never in support of the protest in the first place. The protest has exposed many insincerity of the government to the plight of the youth.
These so called people are always looking for one way or the other to shift at tension from the truth. They blame others and skip the truth and when they're exposed they'll pretend like they've been offline for long.
This particular guy emilokoiyawon said he need to see peoples blood before he'll stop defending the government .
Madridguy has been skipping thread talking about the murdered civilian . I will keep mentioning his moniker since he don't want to admit he's been exposed. I said it earlier these people don't stand with the Yoruba race, they're after personal gain and thinks the Yorubas don't think.
They create multiple thread saying "Yoruba ronu"

Awa omo yoruba eko ti ro ginle . ogbeni tinubu ole ma Dari wa, ki awon omo tiwa ma le jere ilu baba won.

This is not going to be the end. Its just the beginning. Those people who thought they're the power brokers of Lagos would be disgraced out of position.
What ever has beginning also has end.
All the men who called themselves strong men don't need a stronger man to bring them down.

It was extended way beyond 4pm. I heard of the extension around 6pm. Those guys had phones. They knew police stations are burning and yet they remained on the street.

One paid miscreant here said there was no shooting, when eye-witnesses confirmed there were shootings, he changed mouth to there were no killings.

I believe now he will say they didn't die from the bullet but from Corona.

Even if they disobeyed curfew, is the use of live bullet the way to handle things.

I They wanted to obey the curfew they would not be there. If you watch one of the live videos from the incident, the guy said the "rich guys" already left that place. So Those that were there at that time were only ignorant. I sympathise with them but until our society gets better we have to keep managing.
