Please I'm torn between these two cars. Please which one do you prefer and your reasons. 2012 Toyota highlander or Lexus Rx350. Which one is more suitable for Nigerian roads. The two cars are almost same price with Rx350 slightly higher.
Please I wanna hear your thoughts guys.

Shun the two and get an Acura mdx... more bang for the buck. It'll be cheaper than the two with more luxury,tech and more fun to drive. The acceleration on that bad boy for an suv is orgasmic

You'll enjoy standard features like keyless start, heated side mirrors, smart access, telescopic steering wheel, power 10-way seats, UV reducing exterior glass etc. It also comes with a better sound system (15 speakers) and in some year models, dual screen view for the rear seats, heated and ventilated front seats and some other top notch features. You also won't go wrong with the 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of developing 275 hp.

I've driven the Lexus b4 and u like the feel. Go for it

If you mean steering controls, then the Highlander has it. The Highlander has more space and three rows of seats. The engines are practically same 3.5 V6 , almost similar fuel economy for the V6, but the Highlander has option of 4 cylinder FWD. with even better fuel economy.

Base on rugedity the acura MDX might no be that strong compared to Lexus Rx350
If u r to consider the availability of body part too I will recommend the Lexus bro

If op is living in a big city like Lagos, I dont think getting parts should be a problem.

My thoughts exactly....if I'm gonna buy Rx350 I will buy the newest design pictures attached. But with 3.5 mil I'm not sure you can get all these features you wrote up there. This is exactly what I want also. If I'm gonna buy Rx350 it has to be the newest design photo attached. But bros with all the features wrote up there, I don't think 3.5mil will be enough.

Why not go for a Nissan/Infiniti, you'll enjoy it more.or a Mercedes benz M350 4matic.

A 2012 Lexus RX350 has more.2nd hand value than a 2012 Highlander? I don't think so. The 2012 Highlander has 2nd hand value too, probably same level, or maybe even better than the RX overall.
Estimates:
2012 RX350 toks = avg price 8.5m, reg = avg price 5m
2012 Highlander LTD = avg price 7.5m, reg = avg price 4.5m

Yes bro, I finally settled for the lexus RX350 and it must be the latest spec, with the panoramic roof,
nothing less, yes can't get for that price, but if I see a good one that is well deserving I can up my price to 4-5m.. Na alaroro just dey do me haha

Everybody just dey talk about this MDX acura. I don't really know this car because I don't stay in Nigeria and I have searched it on Google but I only got 2020 model. Bro can you tell me the year and make of the MDX you're talking about or better still post the pics here. Let me see if I will consider the car

An acura mdx beats the lexus rx350 of the same year. Better interior design,tech, more power, handling and better offroad capabilities thanks to its advanced shawd system.

Reliability is on par with the Lexus once you keep to a routine, proper maintenance schedule. It's a bit thirstier than the Rx but the engine outputs about 307hp so what you lose in gas, you gain in more power. The Rxhas a better resale value cause you know(its a Toyota) but the mdx costs less.

I've driven both cars so I'm speaking from personal experience.

I'm talking about the 08 MDX.

Both cars will perform considerably well on Nigerian roads. They are from the same manufacturer, although Lexus is the premium brand. However the Lexus RX will be my choice.

You can't get a tokunbo grade A rx 350 2010 for 5mil let alone 3.5mil.
